Owl, not sure its a case of the NEGS ignoring these points, more the case they are not capable of seeing more than a day ahead, limited abilities come to mind.

Seems all NEGS suffer from myopia, certainlly they seem unable to see more than a few hours ahead, i guess thats the difference between success and failure.

Yes in years to come we will have 100 plus wells in Mongolia and thats just on the Heron field, new blocks soon to be awarded adjacent to PC producing fields and GOBI which needs further investigation, easy to see why this manipulation has now started, easy to see why low life like Adw are on here 10+ hours a day spouting negativity.

F3rdinand, i think that is a certainty, very noticeable step change with Mongolia, they have become helpful, no doubt due to wanting MATAD to be a big supplier to their new refinery and we are more than happy to oblige.

2 wells drilled, plus another 100 at least in the coming years, H1 & H2 are withing 1 square km of each other, Heron field extends to 214 square km.

We may even get more than 2 wells per square km, very common in some oil fields for wells to be spaced every 50 or 100 metres from each other, plus no saying H1 which flowed at 821 bbl/d during testing will be the best well, indeed more likely we will drill wells with even better flow rates, money money money.

TBT, they been telling us for weeks that “a raise is coming”. “Heron 2 isn’t commercial”. “The oil won’t be sold anyway” etc etc, hard to fathom that a genuine investors would try so hard to rubbish the sp.

We can either share our riches with DQE deal or seek out a soft loan of 15,000,000, by time the drilling season starts next year the softloan of 15,000,000 would allow us to drill and complete a further 4 wells, no doubt negs will say some wells might be dry but in the known Heron geology that is unlikely. The 4th of these wells would be completed by around August 2025 and would give us 6 producing wells , add the revenue gained from all 6 wells we are virtually self sustaining from that point.

Bean counting, H1 has been producing since 24th Oct so just over 2 weeks, still very early days in the life of the well.

As for H2, if it had been a duster we would have heard a few weeks ago, 7th Oct RNS states ""Preparations to test the Heron-2 well are underway"", so we are around day 35 of well test, longer than i would expect and way to long for them still to be working on it if it were a duster, my thoughts are 1: H2 required re-stimulation or re-perforation which would add a few days or 2: we have gone straight into well completion to bring H2 onstream and the next RNS which may be a week away will tell us its been completed and producing.

The longer we go without hearing H2 well test results, the more certain I am that H2 is commercial, if it were not commercial we would not still be working on it and this would likely have been identified weeks ago, also the longer we go without hearing / RNS the more I am thinking MATAD has gone straight into the completion phase of the well, October 7th RNS states “”Now that construction permitting is not required, the Company is progressing plans to be ready to bring the well onstream in November in the event of a good test””, if we do not get a well test RNS shortly then I expect our next RNS will tell us H2 has undergone completion and is now producing and adding revenue.

Some might call that wishful thinking, I prefer to call it deductive reasoning.

October 7th RNS also states (see below) the equipment needed for completion already being sourced.

“”Now that the lengthy construction permitting process is no longer required the chances of getting Heron-2 on stream this year have improved, and plans are being made to be ready to do so in the event of a positive well test. Suppliers of the necessary equipment have been contacted and discussions are also ongoing with the Block XIX operator with a view to borrowing spare equipment that may be available locally””.

HAMM, agreed, i tried being very conservative for H1 revenue to year end, the figure could be much higher and certainly will be if we can get H2 onstream, however none of that matters as according to the NEGS the oil is worthless.

I guess come January and we open H1 choke to extract and additional 100 bbl/d that will be worthless as well, seems Mark Twain was spot on.

I reckon just over $1,000,000 revenue from H1 alone by year end, been conservative due to flow tests, well fluid clean up etc etc so averaged production at 250 bbl/d @ $67 per barrel.

Be nice bonus if H2 could grow that figure a bit, we will hear soon.

WOS, think i need to correct you, Investor did not mention he was on trading course, his previous post told us how he "follows" a NASDAQ investor who makes 100000 a day trading in the US, this quite obviously makes Investor someone that should be listened to and respected.
