When SOCO were awarded the now PC half of the TAMSAG basin back in 1995 they drilled many wells with little success, only when they sold out to PC in 2005 did that half of the TAMSAG basin deliver its riches, MATADs half of the TAMSAG is just as rich in oil.

If it had been upto the NEGs on here the industrial revolution would not have happened, shortsighted is an understatement.

Thorn, affraid there are quite a few on the board that only look at the past history, they simply are not capable of understanding where the company is now and where it will be in the future

NEWSFLOW on multiple fronts as follows:

1: Sales agreement.

2: H1 sand screen.

3: Workover of H2, Gobi and/or Gazelle, which order we do not yet know.

4: New on JV/partnership, probably not imminent (days) but not far away, it takes time to make a deal like this.

With sales agreement and H1 production increase the sp could well be approaching 4p or more by the end of April. The increased production from H1 will also propel us onto a much sounder financial position.

H1 sand screen fitted and H1 production increased to circa 500 bopd = +25/30% minimum.

After H1 its unknown which well will be reworked first, H2, Gazelle or Gobi Bear 1 all three are drilled and cased wells mentioned in the AGM, no doubt MB will choose the well with the best pay back potential.

MATAD confirmed they are discussing JV/Buy out with three companies at least.

We are now days from the start of Mongolias work season when the weather is mild enough for work to begin, first order of work is fit H1 with the sand screen, this is a very straight forward task that should complete in 4 to 5 days max, once done H1 production can be increased.

Yep, very strange that those (like me) that are actually invested are happy to exchange views and hopes with likeminded MATAD investors, while you, Adw, Doc, etc etc etc who are not invested come here every day for months to bash the stock.

You joined LSE 18th November 2024 (5 months ago), 3 weeks after MATAD bacame an oil producer, since then you have posted 1353 posts where as i joined LSE Feb 2015 (10 years ago) and have 3905 posts, think its obvious to most you have an agenda.

Great to see H1 producing but will be better once the sand screen is fitted and we can open the choke up to increase production, some expect 400 bopd, myself i think 500 bopd plus, question is could we reach near the 821 bopd stated in 14th November RNS.

Thorn, yes i am happy to wager 50p, i will go for Heron 1 to be better than Gazelle, but i think Gobi Bear could turn out to be the best of them all so far,

I still firmly believe GOBI might well be the company maker as the RNS (7th Oct 2024) stated it has 34m of reservoir quality sandstones, the fact there were only faint oil shows does not mean there is no oil, see below link that will help you understand.

With 34m pay area it really could be HUGE, ok its migrated, we just need to find where its hiding, that’s a lot of oil.

FACTS we know for certain.

1: 530 km pipeline between TAMSAG fields and refinery due to complete later this year.

2: Latest upto date news (Sept 2024) says the refinery will be completed by March 2026.

During the AGM MB stated 2028 however he appears to be the only one saying 2028.

3: Current Mongolian oil production around 14,000 bopd.

4: Refinery requires 30,000 bopd to run at 100% capacity.

5: PC half of TAMSAG basin has had over 311 producing wells over the years however some have been producing for 20 years and coming to end of life.

6: Matads half of TAMSAG basin same geology as PC half of TAMSAG, but we have drilled only two wells.

7: Moongolia NEEDs our oil.

8: PC need new unexplored field.

9: MATAD cannot fund the extensive drilling program on HERON by itself.

10: We know from historical records PC drilled an average of 37 wells a year between 2005 and 2021 in their half of the TAMSAG basin.

FACT, MATAD half of the TAMSAG Basin is rich in oil, estimates are 60 million recoverable barrels valued at around 4 billion dollars.

From the AGM we know MATAD are speaking to at least 3 different companies regards JV/buy out.

Like clockwork the NEGs turn out in force, not long now and they will be a bit sick (most already sick)

Agreed, their repeated FUD posts are designed to make the board unattractive / unusable, probably best to ignore them and any negative subject lines.

How non invested FUD posters can consider their posts balanced is beyond me.

Think back to 14th November RNS telling us about the pressure spikes/fluctuations, how often did they post saying it would cost a fortune to replace surface equipment/wellhead, seperator etc etc, there were hundreds of posts, all crap, all lies, i said at the time H1 would stabilize itself and it did.

Without the NEGs and bashers how many posts would we have 50%, maybe even less
