Phatz my thoughts exactly .. Mandy buys in blindly at £5 , and then spends years begging for a take over at a 70% loss. Couldn’t make it up. As you say the country’s most clueless investor.

Instead of being on here 24/7 typing rehashed nonsense , if Mandy spent all that time researching about the stock market and investing , he probably would have emulated warren buffets fortunes, or at worst not bought at £5 looking to sell at £1.86.

I would personally be selling us stocks and buying ftse stocks. As that is where the value currently remains following both index rises. The time to buy us stocks like trane lilly Coca Cola Microsoft Nvidia etc was the last two years. Many have risen and so what you are proposing to do is sell value and buy at the top of a recent US index rise.

Not sure I’d have sold BT as capex is on its way down next few years , and nwg will probably hit 400p and Barc 245 p yet..

I’m interested in buying in this stock , but I don’t think there is a rush just yet to buy as for the next few months there are opportunities to buy a dip with no outcome certain

Why would anyone want a bid when capex comes down? The divi will rise every year from now on.

If you bought at £1-1.40 you’ll be getting 11-16% your money every year .

Theres only Mandy who wants a bid because even if the dividend doubles his average is high and his yield low. So he wants a bid because of his age and time isn’t on his side.

For anyone younger and with a lower average a bid of £2 or likely lower (as we only get max 40% premium) would be robbery..

His leadership duties including tool provision and hole drill bits for the cubicle doors and sandpaper to avoid splinters from the evenings rigours

Hole drill bit size was only 15mm so minimal expenses incurred.

Lgen abdn phnx Jupiter haven’t moved yet due to higher PE. That will change when rates come down.

Yes the better buy was aviva in hindsight.

I have almost equal money in lgen and aviva and more in phnx. But I got lucky with my entry points, as well as barc and nwg where I’m way up.

In 6 months this price will seem quite cheap
