I really have no idea.
However, I suspect there is a lot of choreography in the events unfolding, and that the port signing is the trigger for other pieces of news.
The loan GLEN gave Jumelles and thus ZIOC, is due to be repaid by end of this year, which suggests not only a deal announced before then but the transaction completed.
Annual results are also due, which should contain more information and direction of travel.
I don't think we have long to wait for price changing news, and life changing news/money in your share account by year end potentially.
Others on here should also have views and additional information
Aberdeenman
I think GLEN knew all this was lined up prior to their share 'adjustment' and even giving ZIOC operating capital, hence not diluting shareholders with something as trivial as operating capital, whilst negotiations were taking place. Backing of GLEN would have been crucial to demonstrate financial backing.
Deal is done IMO, bar the announcements and signatures.
It will be life changing indeed!
Aberdeenman
Only another 3500% to go from here ;-)
fingers crossed

@jiving, and those figures were with no easy route to market, that issue is becoming much less of a problem, increasing the value enormously.
Aberdeenman
"What are peoples expectations re SP if (or should I say when!) we get brought out?"
Very difficult to answer, I would be surprised if the SP was not 3 figures, and the further down the line the more it will be, could be multiples of that...in time.
Just IMO
Aberdeenman
Everything should fall into place in a relatively short period of time, there will have been a lot of work going on in the background, GLEN knew exactly what they were doing, and the outcome, when the share structure changed.
This will fly to many multiples of the current price as news comes through.
If, as some are saying, a full buyout is likely, then the higher the SP beforehand the better!
Aberdeenman
I think the only question (that matters) now is when!
Not that we have been waiting long (howl!)
Aberdeenman
World bank support for infrastructure also helps with Due Diligence for other investments in the region, i.e. corruption risk seen to be acceptable.
Great find!
Aberdeenman
I know we 'may' not have long to wait, but just wondered if anyone has any views on why it will take an announcement by the acquirer for funds to be distributed?
If all process' are complete, seems strange? we have to wait for an announcement?
We will know soon enough, just wondered if anyone had any insight.
Aberdeenman
I agree re the port being the catalyst, however, just to add, there will not be a wait until the port is complete, I think as soon as there is a commitment for the port, things will start moving for Zanaga.
Timescales dictate all moving in unison.
Aberdeenman
Re the reports that have been mentioned, they need to be totally discounted, they are vanity reports and been around for years.
If you search for many small companies you will find one of these reports, they will detail a lot of bigger companies in a sector and the smaller company in the list, inviting people to pay for a meaningless report, that will have a lot of info scraped on the larger companies, and a paragraph of similar scraped info on the target company, all likely compiled by a bot. Gullible investors and CEO's will pay to get a useless report.
On another note, I do have a worry that anything meaningful could have been built for 2m, however, the similar language being used by J&J/ Velys could be very encouraging. I would be happier if it was patents that were being paid for.
Either way we will know soon enough, fingers crossed.

Rktech,
I was at that meeting, and have no recollection of storming out or throwing my toys out the pram, but it was a useless exercise anyway.
Pheonix is correct, I have no idea what has gone on in the intervening period, as I just wrote it off and moved on.
As it happens I am definitely not saying this is all not true, far from it I dearly hope all is going to come good!
But given ABH has been known to not be 100% truthful (or at best, at times, inept), hence the delist, I still have some reservations, therefore it would be great to see independent verification prior to a payout.
But I am not that fussy, a payout will suffice, I still have load of shares sitting in a nominee account, so I will be totally delighted to see some money.
Fingers crossed, and I agree with many on here, I fail to see what could be gained by making all this up!
Aberdeenman
"I'm sure plenty of people on here will confirm the second any money goes into their nominee account!"
I am sure they will, but I am hoping that we see independent confirmation, via an announcement by the 'acquiring company'
I will be a lot more confident seeing that in black and white on a large company, press release.
Aberdeenman
@dreamboat, of course, happy to meet Gary, will post a means of contact later.
For all the haters, so sad, I did say I hoped it is all water under the bridge, at the time a lot was done for the right reasons, to be totally honest I think ABH was a) pretty stupid and b) not malevolent which he was accused of.
As I say all water under the bridge, and sad that some have it in their personality to always be negative and attacking, for whatever reason.
TBH what happened with CTAG and many other AIM/small listed companies, is that the basic premise of the company, the IP or whatever was sound, if you were to really think about it in some ways we were ahead of the game with CTAG, which if the deal is true, we will get rewarded for, but over and over again I see these small company CEO's make huge mistakes, and have huge ego's it is almost like they get the CEO title and think they can do no wrong. CTAG wa a bit of a hybrid ABH made huge mistakes but he was experienced, maybe that is why he is able to negotiate a stunning deal, but he was subject to a concerted campaign of abuse and shorters (may they burn in hell), but made stupid errors.
No-one comes out of this super well, me included, but I did what I did for the best reasons at the time, and it was never paid for, despite what some may say. When I have an opportunity I am enthusiastic, not paid.
GLA, I will not post much here, as it may cause conflict, but I truly wish every holder every success, I stand to gain a very significant six figure sum, I remember buying on the morning before it delisted, and have called myself a fool for many years, just shows, how time can change everything!
Adios amigos,
Aberdeenman
Just to add...
As another poster mentioned this, and no disrespect to the people involved, I know everyone was very upset at the time, with very good cause. I never joined the legal group, these types of groups never do well IMO, and the emotion expended is too much to bear for little result.
Again no disrespect to those involved, but it was easier for me to write it off.
Easier does not mean painless I hasten to add, I had/have a lot of money lost?/tied up here, millions of shares.
I was accused of trading it and cashing out, but never the case.
Anyway enough from me, I sincerely hope we all gain, and can move on from this wiser, happier, and at least a little wealthier.
Aberdeenman
Well, well, well.
Shocked doesn’t even begin to describe how this news has affected me. Like others, I wrote my substantial holding off years ago and it was only a message from a very decent guy I knew years ago that alerted me to this. Many were angry with me at the time, understandably, emotions run high when money is involved. Just been trying to catch up in somewhat disbelief (and a fair measure of cynicism ) however, thinking back (and I may have got this way wrong) despite the farce (as it turned out) some of the underlying IP was sound, and sounds like he has been honourable and not folded the company but worked on? I am saying that from an uninformed perspective, as I stopped following this completely relatively shortly after delisting.
I could forgive ABH a lot if he deposits nearly 25 cents per share into my share account, we all Fock up at times and I remember those febrile days well.
Anyway, to all those looking in, I hope it is all water under the bride, and fingers crossed we get a result, until the money lands, I am holding my breath.
Just hope it is not a ‘you have made this huge amount, all you need to do to get payment is send us $xxxx to facilitate payment!!!’ Lol
It would be a most amazing result, GLA, and Fock Tom winnifroth who called this a scam, fwiw, I never thought that.
Aberdeenman
Wouldn't want to be out of this any time soon!
Aberdeenman
I wish you guys all the luck in the world, that is a substantial holding, and could make you seriously wealthy, and me when it comes good, but not to that extent!
Aberdeenman
I will correct your mistake MM
5m x my upper end valuation = a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot
Aberdeenman
As marcusg71 said earlier, ports sign off could be 1st week June at the BRICS get together, once that is done all should fall into place.
Not sure we will have a bidding war, I suspect everything is already lined up.
