Just feels like too high risk to be out of this stock with a price of 2.6p!

Another benefit is that it relates to the volume weighted average price, so hopefully the drop down to 8.5p won’t have too much impact on the price assumed in the calculation, as you’d imagine volumes at 12p+ have been much higher

But on balance (not deramping), you have to account for the months we were running at 2.5-1.5p

It didn’t pass Phase 3 originally but since then they have identified 3 points which has led to the patent application:

1. Dose needed to be significantly increased

2. Patients typically already on steroid medication to ease symptoms, but they realised they must taper down their use before treatment

3. Identified a Type-M ‘super responder’ which means patient identification going into next trial will be much more effective

Worth saying the original trial wasn’t a massive failure but allowed them to learn plenty more about the platform.

Out of 100s of examples - Tim very deliberately likened P140 to the Humira deal from 2005/2006

Deal was worth about £700M back then (c£1.2BN in today’s money)

That sticks with me. Why be so deliberate about that drug out of all the examples he could have used?

Humira was a ‘blockbuster’ drug at peak.

People get spooked by these swings but SPs don’t go up in straight lines.

Look at HEMO SP profile over last month…up 900% but on multiple occasions it’s swung up to 40% back from its high, and then gone again.

It’s just the way it goes - profit taking, MM games and small PIs bricking it.
