it's a 'no brainer' imo. Happy to keep accumulating.
Whichever way you look at this, it's seriously undervalued. In the last year or so, global interest & awareness of plastics/bioplastics/alternatives has exploded. Companies are now more conscious than ever about plastic waste and you now even have major supermarkets removing plastic bags (yes, even the 5p ones!) from stores.
The demand for bioplastics is only going to grow exponentially YoY. Even a tiny part of this market will be worth multi-millions. Capture this and we're looking at many multiples of today's valuation.
The long term growth trajectory is only up imo. Fantastic top up opportunity.
I've taken more. Incredible bargain here imo
Expecting a “substantial” increase in bioplastic rev in 2019. Sounds very good. Taking cash off the market cap, valued at just £14M for a nearly £9M revenue company! Hugely undervalued
Looking forward to 7am tomorrow :) but even more so when the masses cotton onto just how cheap this stock is! Even if the figures are £8M FY18 revs tomorrow, we should be significantly higher than current market cap.
Regarding the US coffee pod orders - I suspect it's for Keurig. Check out this article from a few years ago to see how eco-conscious the founder is: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2015/mar/04/why-the-man-behind-keurigs-coffee-pods-wishes-hed-never-invented-them
I bought in a few tranches as couldn't get a favourable quote for anything in size - 4 of the buys are mine. I'm surprised this share is so quiet given the heavy media publicity around sustainability and bioplastics. Big push all around the world.
I can't see it being quiet for long here though..! Glad I got the opportunity to buy in before the herd arrive
Been watching for a few weeks in case it dipped for an entry but alas, no..! Not going to wait until after the trading update so I've pulled the trigger and bought a few chunks. I expect FY18 revs to come in near £9M which would make us significantly undervalued at current prices imo.
Could conceivably see £10+ in the coming days on the back of a good trading update imo. Lots going on. I'm more interested in the forward looking statements.
I have been buying today after researching the past few weeks. I've been very impressed with what I've discovered and plan to take more over the coming weeks.
As you mention zeus, hugely impressive board with Tom leading (serial entrepreneur - look at his past ventures ;) and highly skilled team around him including ex-head of MI6.
Showing significant rev growth Y/Y, expecting a trading update in feb with 2018 accounts in April. Best thing - tiny free float, by my calcs less than 15% of this stock is in free float. No wonder it rises so fast on a few buys :)
The usual gang of derampers want in, they're worried the sp will get away from them tomorrow and they'll be paying premiums. Tough luck.
We all know how big the prize is here at Brockham. This is what Angus came to the market for back in 2016 - everything else is a sideshow. It's now happening. I believe we may see the first few tankers start rolling out the gates of Brockham this week and then the sp will go nuts.
Boardroom battles leaving rock bottom sp when the mega story at Brockham is just unfolding yields a fantastic situation for maximum profit imo. I suspect people buying in at these levels could well find themselves sitting on a multi-bagger within weeks.
if there are any new eyes here after the Sunday Times article today - well, you've just come across a little gem of a share. Been our secret for quite a while!
I suggest anyone wanting lots more info head over the VRS board on ADVFN as it's far more active than here with some many highly knowledgeable posters.
Hi Max - the group is simply a chat group like this board with no motive or agenda for change. Neill is doing a fantastic job.
If anyone wants to join, just tweet me @AIM_profit and I'll add you when I get chance. It's not some exclusive club just a twitter version of this board! :)
those big trades look like sells to me - I suspect they're from our big seller(s) that have been selling the past month or two. My guess is they're very nearly done. Once done, the sp will rocket by itself, that's discounting the clearly huge news that's hurtling down the track towards us ;)
Agree, it's a no brainer being majority, if not all, in VRS. However, a healthy dose of patience is required - those who wait and endure the occasional slide will be very much rewarded. Been in since the 15p days (not actually that long ago, only last year!) and what a ride its been so far.
I do now think the business has been substantially de-risked and anyone with half a brain cell can see just where this is heading with China... never has been a stronger case for a buy & hold.
yes very good podcast - a quiet confidence that this company will become a monster in time. Focusing on delivering large orders. Going to try and find some funds for another top up at this price - certainly won't be around these levels much longer!
you say 'fundamentals haven't changed' - I'd disagree, you have the chairman dumping his whole holding and trying to cover it up. Ask yourself why. Pretty big change to fundamentals imo!
I got burnt with Angus last year with Lidsey results. From that point on I lost faith in the bod. This just goes to reaffirm my belief. Can anyone point out a time when the bod have acted with integrity in the interests of PIs? No, I can't either!
exactly what ART123 just said - are you really naive enough to believe JTP just got 'scammed'. Don't be ridiculous. If he genuinely wanted a loan with equity used as collateral then he would easily have been able to find a reputable company to do this through.
What's happened here is nothing short of a cover up story to allow him to dump all his shares. Bet that's the last you hear about it, all swept under the carpet. You have to question why he's dumping all his shares and why not be honest. Stinks!
