Tomhuck - It's a waste of time asking Rach for any research information. She is on a mission with her own agenda. Sangrove sold out completely on 4 April 2024. RNS confirmed this on 5 April 2024.

Sandgrove is not on the shareholders' list because it sold out completely and JAY notified the market promptly.

Rach has a dubious and uncouth personality (one of her posts was taken down for the use of vile language). Maybe more about that later.

If asked whether she is a shareholder, Rach would dodge answering the question and ask you to look up her previous posts. Here is the answer to the question of whether she is a shareholder.

On 2 May 2024 at 20:10 on the JAY chat board, this is what Rach said: "I'm looking for some real news and not just the bs they keep serving up - the lucrative sale of an asset or the partnering of a major - THAT'LL BE THE TIME I'D CHOSE TO BUY. Until then what has Jay to offer? WOULD YOU BE BUYING NOW?". You can look up her post under the JAY chat board.

So, Rach's stated position is she would buy only when there is a lucrative sale of an asset or a major miner becomes a partner.

Moreover, Rach asked the chat board readers: “WOULD YOU BE BUYING NOW?” Here is an interesting piece of information. On 2 May 2024, when she asked “WOULD YOU BE BUYING NOW?”, the share price closed at 0.28p. On 1 July 2024 (just two months later), the share price closed at 0.65p. So, if anyone had bought the stock on 2 May 2024 and sold it on 1 July 2024, they would have more than DOUBLED their money. Oh well!

I may well post something about Rach's dubious and uncouth personality later to warn other readers on this board.

My agenda: I am here because I am a shareholder. I unflinchingly believe in the mega prospects of Disko. Only time will tell!

ChirpyCheep - Putting to a side the overdue Disko update, the news items I am expecting could come from any of these fronts:

1. Project fieldwork (This could apply to any of the active projects. For example, the Thule copper project RNS 1 May 2024: "The Company is planning to conduct a 2024 field program consisting of helicopter-supported geological reconnaissance.")

In the note I posted on 4 Sep 2024 at 19:06 (the day when the new name of 80 Mile was formally confirmed by an RNS), I said: "Glad the name change has now been completed and I now look forward to news (of announcements of deals/agreements), whenever that may be." - End

VOISEYS' BAY - ​If you have not already, please take a look at the three-part article that TonyAngelino has kindly shared with us (I have re-posted the link here). The article states Voisey’s Bay deposit is world-class in terms of its grade and size with 141 million tonnes of ore, the deposit has significant grades of nickel, copper, and cobalt. Part II of the article states: "Finally on March 26th, 1996, Inco announced a takeover bid of its own for CAD$4.3 billion of Diamond Fields". Initial drill in 1994. DISKO - Disko's leanest anomaly is 250m thick, and the fattest is 800m. If all that is metal (and only drill assay results can confirm this), then Disko could be worth many times that of Voisey's Bay, just from one of Disko's several high-quality targets. So, what could be Disko's value? That's the multi-million-dollar question!

TonyAngelino - Yes, the figure of CAD$4.3bn in 1996 for Voisey's Bay was indeed astonishing. You will probably know that the value of the deposits at Norilsk is even much greater.

On 11 November 2021, Bo Stensgaard (then CEO) presented a video interview and it was published on YouTube. For some strange reason, the video was removed as soon as it was published. Thankfully I managed to watch it before it was taken down. In the interview, BS said KoBold was likely to sell off its 51% stake in Disko once the exploration work has been completed. Why did he say that? And why was the video taken down?

RNS 4 September 2024: "The (Disko) JV has completed intensive analysis and interpretation of the extensive geochemical, geophysical, and geological data collected during the previous exploration campaigns. Leveraging KoBold's proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms, this comprehensive analysis has resulted in the identification of SEVEN INITIAL PRIORITY TARGETS within the project area. These seven priority targets exhibit spatial characteristics indicative of potential deposits on a scale comparable to renowned mining operations such as Norilsk​ (Russia), VOISEY'S BAY​ (Canada), and Jinchuan​ (China)." - End

Dr. Peter Lightfoot is KoBold Metals' lead geologist (nickel). He is currently acting as the lead geologist for KoBold for the Disko JV project. When working for the major miner Vale, Dr Lightfoot was responsible for exploration at Voisey's Bay before being appointed Chief Geologist responsible for technical aspects of exploration programs at Voisey's Bay. So, Dr Lightfoot knows a thing or two about Voisey's Bay.

I suspect the ​current miserable share price is giving a lot of investors the heebie-jeebies but this could change dramatically for the better if the drill assay results prove that Disko's deposits are huge.

Shareholders approved the name change on 10 July 2024. I posted this note on 19 July at 8:58 on the JAY chat board: "I wonder whether the announcement of any Deals/Agreements with third parties would be held back until the company's name has been changed to 80-Mile (AIM: 80M) so that the new name can be applied to the Deals/Agreements. Moreover, it would also make sense to issue the vendors of White Flame Energy with 80M shares rather than JAY shares. Just a thought."

Glad the name change has now been completed and I now look forward to news, whenever that may be.

A confirmation by JAY of drilling at Disko in 2025 could pull in buyers ready to gamble on the chances of success. If the follow-up drill assay results confirm "Norilsk-type geology" ( I repeat "Norilsk-type geology") that could ignite the JAY share price. Right now, the Disko element in the share price is negligible but any hints of proof that the vast multi-metals field indicated by research really exists and the value could rocket.
