Rach - I have already said I have no intention of engaging with you and given my reasons for it. Today's RNS (30 September 2024) - "In parallel, we will continue to make progress at our Disko joint venture, where revitalisation efforts are already yielding positive results. The Disko project remains a cornerstone of our portfolio, and we anticipate further advancements that will enhance its value proposition. Work on these initiatives (revitalising the joint venture at Disko with KoBold Metals) is PROGRESSING RAPIDLY, and we anticipate providing shareholders with updates in due course."

Wow, that's a nice juicy statement without giving away much! I presume 80M will be putting flesh on the bones in the long-awaited Disko update, which I am expecting to be the subject of the next RNS (according to my understanding three weeks ago).

Why does Rach spend all of her time and effort on a chat board banging on incessantly that a company has no prospects whatsoever and is doomed? Instead, why not go and spend the time and effort chasing companies with prospects? This highly 'odd' behavior to me is a 'blood-red flag' and there must be a hidden agenda at play here. What is her motive?

Rach says you are "crude and rude". I found this laughable. After Sarah Lowther's (Total Market Solutions) video interview with Eric Sondergaard, Rach referred to Sarah as an "absolute tart " in her post on 2 May 2024 at 7:51. LSE took down the post. I have a copy of the post. She can display the worst kind of gutter language behaviour because that is part of her personality.

ChirpyCheep - When I said, "It’s all too clear that there is NO pattern here", what I meant was there is NO pattern to how many RNS one gets in a set period (i.e. in a week or month). I presented those figures to show this to be the case. Of course, one can always come up with an average. For example, this comment by Rach (27 Sep 2024 at 17:42): "As I posted recently Jay/80M issue, on average this year, one RNS EVERY week. An imbecile can state their expecting news soon and be correct within a few days."

The important point I was trying to make was that the actual topic for an RNS (e.g. whether it's Thule, Outokumpu, Jameson, Disko, or something else) is NOT random. This would depend on the readiness of a piece of news to be released to the market. Since there is an expectation among some posters that the next news could be the Disko update, I thought I should share the information that this is not what I understood from management. There may be another piece of news ready to be released before the Disko update. What that news item might be, and when it would be ready to be released, I have no idea whatsoever, but I did identify some possible news items in the note I posted on 24 Sep 2024 at 18:51.

In the 9 months so far we have had 9 project updates:

2 in April

1 in May

1 in June

2 in July

1 in August

2 in September (so far)

It’s all too clear that there is NO pattern here. Project updates come out on an as-and-when basis based on the progress of projects. Some here think that the next project update could be Disko. You might be right. I am as keen as you but my expectation is one more RNS on another subject and then only the long-awaited Disko update. What might be the subject of the next RNS? I have no idea but I did identify some possible news items in the note I posted on 24 Sep 2024 at 18:51.

I live in hope. In the meantime, it is not my nature to moan and groan every time I open my mouth.

Oh dear, KatAmnesia, that was a long, wrathful and ugly post. In particular, your comment about RM in bed was unnecessary and somewhat derogatory. For a teacher, you certainly have lowered the standards. Didn't your other moniker Catwithamnesia (13 Aug 2024 at 22:07) say it would NOT be good to be derogatory towards others? I thought good teachers practice what they preach. By the way, I did not bring up the subject of you teaching students, you did.

KatAmnesia - You did say you teach students. I hope you don't wear dirty pants in front of them. Have you ever considered giving up teaching and becoming a stand-up comedian? Your posts are just jokes!

I don't expect a professional teacher/instructor to engage in triviality and sarcasm whether inside or outside a classroom. For a start, it does not set a good example for their students by engaging in such behaviour. Maybe standards have dropped and I am old school!

As for the news items regarding drilling at Disko in 2025, 80M was confident enough to​ include this statement in the RNS on 11 May 2024: "The Acquisition (of Sedimentary Hosted Copper Project) comes as part of the Company's new growth strategy to secure ​h​igh-quality copper and industrial gas projects whilst CONTINUING TO PROGRESS DISKO TO DRILLING IN 2025." Whether one is an optimist or a pessimist​ about 80M's prospects, the fact of the matter is no one really knows for sure whether ​the company would deliver one or more of the four big-ticket news items I have identified. We will have to wait and see. In the meantime, we will all have our opinions but they are just that - so I would suggest you do your own research ​and come up with your risk-reward assessment.

PS: Good luck, redknight, with your purchase of 5 million shares at 0.288p. I too have been buying at these low levels.

I hope we will have more short-term and near-term news. I rate the following four as potential big-ticket news items:

1. Drilling at Disko in 2025.

2. A partner for Jameson or Thule. There is at least one major miner specifically interested in the Thule project (Watch this video interview from 1.50 mins - https://youtu.be/5G5jwsxhC8E?t=4 ). I don't expect a JV for Thule until at least the licence expansion has been secured from the Greenland government (see item 5 below).

3. New money into 80M coffers for projects through external funding (not dilution). For example, from the European groups.

4. An asset sale.
