This is a pure guess - but I'm wondering if it's an initial fee for the drill rig - possibly a deposit, or travel costs to get the thing on site... my hunch is that there will be an RNS about it this week - dotted line perhaps isn't signed yet, which is why they avoided going into too much detail today. As a say, before all the doom and gloom merchants try to skin me alive, this is a pure guess on my part - and perhaps it's what I want to believe!! GLA

If a service provider (who will be much closer to the detail than we are) is happy to paid in shares rather than in cash, then that's a good signal to me that everything remains healthy and materially on track... they would demand cash otherwise.

I think a walkthrough video would be great - it makes it more enjoyable and interesting when you can see what you're investing into...

I think £17 is very wishful thinking... but based on the known resource etc I think £2 per share is achievable - depends on the commercial deal for selling at the wellhead / flow rate etc

This one has to be a good punt - just for a small stake.

I find it odd that a large chunk of the company is owned by the directors (or at least one of them)... why would they do that if it wasn't viable?

Yeah, good points... I was just being prudent / conservative with £100bn - there is a lot more as you say... and no doubt further interests will be acquired along the journey.

It doesn't actually matter long term what they raise at.... with £100bn of resource in the ground it's kind of academic really - the key is to just have the funds available to get this over the line... raise at 1p for all I care.... this time next year the share price will be over £1 - and I'll take that!! But to try and be clever and sell shares to try to buy back in at a lower price is a gamble in my opinion. Best just to hold the shares you own and not sell (and if you're not yet a holder, buy in when you can). All in my own opinion.
