Mrs B seems to think that this might work out even better than dosing with one vaccine, but my question is - if the government and the regulator are now actively promoting completely untested vaccination regimes, why are they not doing the same with promising treatments?

The idea of using only one tube of a two-part epoxy comes to mind, but I'm sure the science behind the vax is a bit more complex.

Every day there are big buys into the close.

1) There's no "real" news. No new info on efficacy. Everyone expected the UK regulator to approve, "because we are better than others" lol.
2) It was priced in already.

TL - prior price history irrelevant if you get massive revenue streams. You value the company based on future cashflows, not past trading history.

There is progress - no doubt about that. But the sh.t we get fed in the media has got very little to do with reality. UK was "leading the world" on testing when my pal got told to drive 120 miles to test his kid. At the same time people were being tested with ~80% effective LFTs in other parts of the country.
We're now being told by handjob that we'll be out of this by Spring, thanks to a vaccine with unknown effectiveness. I get a feeling that AZ approval is just to divert media headlines from current covid figures.

Just do it once and do it right - work for the result, not for the news headlines. But that would require some foresight from the politicians, wouldn't it?

Doc - 60% effective vaccine only works if lockdowns continue. Otherwise we might have a opposite effect - all the vaccinated come out and half of them fall down.

Oh wait, the AZ vaccine is 70% effective if you only take 1.5 doses, 90% effective with one dose and 99.9% effective if you don't take it at all. Or something like that - I haven't read the latest load of b.llocks from AZ.

Saw that too. That's a false statement, just to give false hope to everyone who's locked down. To me "By Spring" means March, April at the latest and there is no way this is over by March.

However, the world is moving towards vaccinations globally. Chinese, Russian, Pfizer, Astra (if it works lol) vaccines will start having their effect sooner or later.

RM really needs to get his finger out - the company fully expected to start P3 by the end of they year, so what's causing the delay?! Is RM still on Julian calendar?

Just finding a good place for another week's wages ;)
