Not hoping for another disaster, but adding 2+2...
- Lots of people I know have had covid or covid-like symptoms recently. It's summertime and the living is easy for our immune system, weather's good, people are not stuck indoors and one would expect transmission rates to be low.
- Come winter, the immune system will be fooked, covid will combine with flu and rsv again, heating bills will be through the roof, so many will decide to run their home heating a few degrees lower than usual.
Call me a pessimist, but we'll probably see some serious spikes in 6 months.
