Sounds like he's well chuffed off with the state of play. I know he has mentioned before in interviews that the market had overacted to various bits of news - but I think that is the first time I've seen him react like that in print. (Stand to be corrected on that).

Come on GH - the best way to p**s them off is to drop a killer RNS and catch them all off guard.

Market playing games - Greatland team building a business - delighted with the progress being made

If you are a LTH here waiting for the news on EG because you have done your research and believe in the BOD and the company going forward then it doesn't really matter what the SP is today or next week.

I've held these now through all the hype last year and then through the doldrums of 0.5p of the summer. Another couple of weeks is not going to make any difference and as has been stated before it's no longer a 50/50 on EG results - We have BH and Havieron to come also.

I agree that looking at the SP and paper losses daily is depressing especially when you see what is possible when you look at OMI over the last few days. Good luck to all the holders there and may we be in a similar position in the not too distant future.

Hi Tom,

Do know for definite but OMI released an RNS this week about their tie-up with Newmont. In it the CEO commented

“After a lengthy process of evaluating potential partnerships with a number of companies, we are very pleased to have entered into this significant transaction with an industry leader like Newmont"

I'm guessing from this that they did not inform the market until the tie-up was done and dusted and I'm hoping that the same is occurring with GGP as we speak.

Imagine if the next RNS was something along these lines instead of the results we're expecting (very doubtful I know) - there would be total meltdown. Best to stay invested and form today's action it seems most people are also thinking along those lines.

Looking at those big red blobs on the Scallywag target when compared to Havieron has got me very excited.

I'm hoping that GH can expedite the results now that we have the money in the bank and get them in earlier.

We had an announcement on the 13 August 2018 stating that MMI sampling would start at Scallywag some time last month.

Any ideas on roughly how long it takes from commencement of MMI to receiving results.

Black Hills 3DIP results should be incoming any day now also....

I agree with Tiburn - NM wouldn't want to be left with egg on their face and the industry questioning their tech.

There will be gold there for sure - just a question of grades and depth. If we had the time back GH may have done a 3DIP survey instead of the MMI to ascertain the depth of mineralisation.

Also looking at the results - they definitely weren't as good as Hole1 at Havieron - It's just they were repeated over 4 holes instead of just one.

When the results come in from the next 10 holes at Havieron and they hopefully confirm the hole 1 results then all bets will be off.

I don't know what it's like to do mining business in Colombia either but surely it's not as mining friendly as WA.

Their last set of results was announced on the 7th June and in the RNS today the CEO commented

Just shows how long it takes once the Majors are interested before anything would be announced.
