Definitely MASSIVE news - interesting to see that DDH1 are one of the drilling contractors on the RIO site also. Might give a bit more insight into why they were prepared to take equity in GGP instead of payment.

Could be that the interest will be ramped up considerably next week and then if GH can release another bonanza RNS on HAD005 then who knows - could be a potentially explosive week next week.

Must admit I don't feel much like a young'un but can't complain too much - still in rude health and grafting hard.

I have a lad doing "A" levels this year and a daughter doing her "GCSE's" so what with exam stress and expenses for university etc coming over the next few years a good result here would be most welcome.

Most of my holdings are in both mine and the missus SIPP's so no touching that for the next 7/8 years - hopefully GGP will be in a much better place by then - but I have about 2M held in my ISA which would be nice to access as and when required.

Monday seems like a good shout to me - It will be exactly 5 weeks from the last drilling update when they stated results should be available in approx. 6 weeks.

As you also mentioned before he stated in the proactive video on the 23rd that both he and CB had seen the core at the lab the previous week so even if that was on the Friday that would be 19th October which would give them a minimum of 2 weeks up to today.

Also interesting that in the drilling update RNS on the 1st October they said

"Drilling of HAD006 has commenced and further updates on progress of the drilling programme will be announced to market over the coming weeks."

I wonder if the appointment of Clive has had the effect of getting them to change this strategy in an attempt to keep their powder dry. I guess their objective now is not so much to keep the market and us PI's informed on a day to day basis but to get as much ammunition as possible for the (hopefully) upcoming or ongoing negotiations.

I wonder if we will see any buying this afternoon as FOMO kicks in.

Just spotted this tweet on the Artemis twitter account. I know some people invested in GGP on the back of the RNS last year about the possibility of Cobalt being found on our Panorama license.

I don't know what the proximity is between Carlow Castle and our Panorama license is but they are both in the Pilbara so something else to keep a close eye on....

He said that he would not be top-slicing until the SP reached 10p - I'm pretty sure he didn't imply he would be selling all 200M as soon as we reached 10p.

Roughly when does the exploration season start in the Paterson region - I'm guessing that GGP will be lining up the drilling contractors, logistics etc to kick off as soon as possible next year. It could be that we will be drilling in all 3 prospects (Havieron, Black Hills & Scallywag) at the same time - imagine the news flow that will be coming in next year.

All we need now is decent results from HAD005,006 etc to get the SP to a new level ready for the full assault.

I don't know much about the mechanics of trading and how the SP can be held at a level but Stephen Beetham did say last week that he had an open order but was struggling to get it filled.

Are the MM's maintaining it at these levels in order to try fill that order?

Seems very strange with all the good news flow and the news to come over the coming days that we are struggling to even get up to the placing price of 1.25p.

I think you are right about people being positioned long and waiting for the HAD005 results - If it's as good as we all hope for then there's every chance that the SP will get to a level where the warrants can be exercised and hopefully that will bring in enough funds to not have to look at another placing.

The drilling will only be to roughly half the depth of the current Havieron campaign and who knows maybe DDH drilling would enter into a similar agreement - taking equity in lieu of payment to drill BH.

Forgot to say also that there was also high levels of silver discovered in the rock chips samples that were taken from Saddle Reefs earlier in the year - That could be significant as well if it occurs in the IP discovered anomaly.

Just reading through RNS again and letting it sink in.

They say that historical drill holes went to a maximum of 50m and the IP data shows the anomaly starting between 100-150m but the results from the historic holes were pretty good also

– “Historic drill intercepts include 3m at 9.14g/t gold from 26m downhole (incl. 1m at 21.2g/t from 27m (CBR073)), 1m at 10.0g/t gold from 16m (CBH138), 1m at 4.93g/t from 12m (CBH071) and 1m at 3.12g/t from 37m (NBH004).”
If GGP drill to say 300m to check the mineralisation of the discovered anomaly and find similar (or better) grades at the lower depths as the historical drilling coupled with the already known results from the rock chips at surface then surely we could be looking at a big open pit gold mine.

Been out on the road this morning so only catching up on the news now. All sound good to me. The more prospects the better as far as I'm concerned. We knew these results were due and we all knew they would lead to more drilling so I can't see what the problem is. Would it have been better to have have crap results this bringing the GGP exploration model into question. Key for me is the positivity of Plappers posts this morning. He seems delighted with the news and I'm sure he won't mind me saying that on occasion he can be slightly negative (probably with good reason as he says he had a geological background) Roll on Havieron update - GLA Paddy

Another real low volume day - not even 4M traded and we're almost at 1.30pm.

Seems like everyone is sitting tight now waiting for the HAD005 assay results to appear.
