Hard to say Matt - but I think the black blobs we are seeing are the "sump pits" located beside the drill rigs - see the image on this page of the drilling at Havieron - https://www.newcrest.com/our-assets/asset-overview.

It seems to me then that the drill pads that are "blackest" will be the ones where they are currently working - if this proves to be correct then the clusters in the SW, NE & NW will be where they are concentrating at the moment which would make sense to me.

It's only a possible one - might be an anomaly in the ground or satellite. If it is a new one then i'd imagine it to be NS or SE-NW direction to test the edge of the dome that they showed in the last update.

I think that's what we were getting at earlier today also when talking about the plans for 2020 - GH will soon be singing like a nightingale after NCM release the next set of assays - minimum 5 - 10 trading away IMO.

I'd say they are pretty clued up with what they've got in the "known" area but remember at the moment we are still open to the NW and at depth - unless the drill results that we are awaiting close those off then I'd say I wouldn't want to deal.

Scallywag looks very good and I've been one of the most bullish people on it but people in the industry keep saying that a "Havieron" only comes along once in a lifetime so we should get the maximum possible from it - anything else at Scallywag / Paterson Range East is a bonus IMO.

No buy out of Havieron until at least initial MRE please - we'll know more after the next set of results hopefully.

Scallywag actually borders RIO north & south as well as Antipa if you look at the map Matt, so there's a lot to play for here for all the parties.

Maybe that's why we have got the warrants exercised - if GH was in negotiations then I'm sure he could have had a word with the HNW individuals / institutions to "ask" them to help out by converting thus strengthening his hand.
If those people were intent on holding those warrants until much higher then converting at this point and holding the shares would achieve the same thing for them but would really help the company out.

I might be totally barking up the wrong tree but sort of makes sense to me????

I would have expected some direction on the 2020 exploration campaign by now also - so the fact we haven't heard anything yet points to the possibility that there is something brewing in the background again. We had the same scenario last year when we were waiting for the Havieron drilling plan and we got the NCM farm-in RNS dropped on us.

The remainder of the GGP ground must now be very desirable to the majors - There could be negotiations going on at present but IMHO the terms would need to be very good to enter into any agreement now without first putting in some holes. We are well capitalised with that extra £1.8 million that landed in the coffers last week so there should no pressure from a financing point of view.

We are also due the half yearly results RNS - this landed on the 4th March last year so that should clarify our financial position.

I think they were forced to sell because of some government policy

The sale of NSH follows a strategic review of the asset by Newcrest and to comply with the amended PT NHM Contract of Work which required at least 51% of PT NHM to be owned by Indonesian parties by 30 June 2020.
