Hi poni - I'm guessing the 11th June as that's exactly the halfway point between the two sets of quarterlies.

NCM have history for dropping the results early also so it may be on the Monday / Tuesday of that week. I would expect them to be at some point during that week though.

Looks like I was mislead ok Spy :-). According to DDH1 own website they can do up to 3km depth - still far in excess of where we've got to so far.

I also have been told by a geologist that the diamond drilling rigs that DDH use at Havieron are capable of drilling up to 6km depth.

I haven't had that confirmed but the person who passed the information on to me is very reputable and I've no reason to doubt him.

I think the reason NCM want the decline is they can drill horizontally into the orebody and if the want to test the depths they don't have to drill through the barren 400m every time.

The beauty of the system that Newcrest may hopefully employ depending on the concept study is they may initially target the high grade sulphide zone using a 'stoping' system. This would allow them to start mining from the top of the orebody and this is why the initial capex requirement would be so low.

Hannam estimated 12 years of mine life from the known sulphide zone without allowing for any step outs. While this mining operation was proceeding they could then be developing the infrastructure for the block cave which would then go into production once the stoping had exhausted the higher grades.

Looking forward to reading the concept studies when NCM releases them.

I think magic alluded to the fact that the pyrrhotite (which is a sulphide with magnetic properties) may be causing the magnetic signature at Havieron. This sulphide is not present in the Telfer mineralisation. I think he said that the pyrrhotite in itself doesn't contain the gold - it is the pyrite and chalcopyrite that contain the gold/copper mineralisation in the sulphide zone.

This must give us a high degree of confidence though that the our other targets in the region that have similar AEM signatures, have given similar responses to the geochemical and ground gravity surveys and are in structurally good locations will contain similar high grade ore deposits.

Only way to find out is to start punching more holes in the ground - ATB Paddy

Still a lot more step-out drilling at depth & along strike, up to 80km of drilling flagged for the next calendar year.

Maybe you might need to say it more than 3 times at some point in the future.

I noticed that last year schlemiel - see the one that RIO have got funding for - it's no.33 on the map - that's Budjidowns which is literally just North of Havieron / Scallywag. I have been keeping an eye out there to see if they start any activity in that area.

Hi magic - I've literally just managed to watch the 2nd presentation all the way through - fantastic piece of work again. I found it clear and relatively easy to understand so that goes some way to show how good a communicator that you are.

Definitely changed there also Stout - I didn't highlight it as I assume that is probably part of the infill drilling and I was more looking at the step-outs to the NW but that's a big sump right beside an existing one so just shows they are still cracking on at pace.

No new drill pads that I can visibly discern but there's definitely activity around the existing pads to the W and the NW.

Very thorough, between this, magictrades & the investment journey I think the PI's on GGP have a pretty good handle on what's happening with the company and what's in store for us over the next few months.

He thinks 12.7p for the high grade sulphide zone but reckons we should also get about 5.4p for the breccia zone that Hannam totally disregarded. Adding in a nominal amount for the other assets he has got to a value of 22p for GGP valued at present drilling state without allowing for any new step-out drilling along strike or at depth.

100% - he could have converted these in a couple of months when the SP is a lot higher and he would have had to sell a lot less to cover the costs - it's just like his director buy when we dropped last month, he is supremely confident where this is going and saying that to the MM's and the market - IMHO.
