Ah! A good person to know! I'm a chemist by training and worked in information services, of which patent novelty was by far the most interesting and engaging. Our small research groups - the UK arm of a large multinational - worked over the years on drug targetting, anticoagulant drug development, and respiratory drug discovery - no oncology, nor immunology! I worked alongside the medical information group and had a good overview of the whole process from discovery through formulation, clinical development and analysis, regulatory affairs, adverse reaction reports, marketting and production.

I'll take that as a "No" then Professor.

I have a background in pharma and am very heavily invested in Avacta, a company which, as long as it steers clear of immunotherapy*, has a very understandable science and thus business case.

* It doesn't but that part is peripheral.

Well strictly multi means more than one but I guess everyone has their own definition/threshold. For me it would be 3 or more. And of course it depends what one's average cost is. I'd be very happy with 4x the current share price - a multibagger, but would obviously prefer 10x or more so that I never had to think about my pension. It just requires patience. Or as Alderbaron would say, patients.

I take it that the 'safety switch' is a major part of Hemogenyx's USP? Could someone please explain what it is and how it works, and what advantage it offers over competitors?

I once went on a Laboratory of the Government Chemist residential course in chemical nomenclature up in Lytham St Annes. It was an enjoyable three days but I flew back more confused than when I'd arrived.

73.01 wyn. I am a convert to RSI. A lot easier - the work is done for me - and less messy than crayons and a book of spells. A retrace to 64.5p would suit me fine (have a limit order in for 65p), although happy to hold a bit of cash in reserve for Avacta or another share or a fund or just as cash.
