The default is payment in $, which is what HL and ii receive, and they will then have it converted at different rates.

As already flagged... somewhere... danger is that the bus departs altogether, and the London listing is eventually discontinued. Then the divi gets cut - Yanks are not so keen on divis - and those like me who bought for the divi in the glory days of 120p, are left high and dry.

Anyone who is getting 70% is being short-changed and should move to a better broker.
