Interactive pay me 85% in ISA and in trading a/c.
My only gripe is that they used to pay in £ then decided to switch to $ in the trading a/c so I have to convert.
Anyone who is getting 70% is being short-changed and should move to a better broker.
Also with ii, and no divi yet which is a pity as it will be 4 figures.
However, ii are one of the quickest platforms when it comes to processing divis and getting them right... half-day today, $ to convert, so I cut them some slack.
Here's to a happy 2024 for all DEC investors.
The... dunno if this will work why is there no edit facility... Oak Bloke has something to say about this latest nonsense.
I really wish I wasn't already so overweight, what a great opportunity.
The proposed liquidation is discussed in the Oak Bloke's substack today.

He says it is premature and stupid (my words) and can be voted down.
So get voting.
Uninvestable by the West... but do they care?
They could be lining up the Chinese &/or Russians to take over the IOC's fields. China, Russia, no hesitation in bribing the locals.
Yes, it would be illegal, but so what.
I have quite a lot of money in here and I try to hope for a positive outcome, but ....
Well, you might not like his comment - as previously posted - here Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8H_xqbG6qc 1:38 - but it reflects how most people would regard the oilie's current situation:
Previously the KRG paid very slowly, now the money will have to come via the Iraqis who may be just as bad, and then through the KRG, so payments could be even slower.
Until this is sorted out, the SP will languish, whether the pipeline is working or not.
No, he doesn't have a lot of views, but he's not playing to the get-rich-quick merchants who typically clutter up BBs.
In an ISA they have to pay you in sterling. Dollars not allowed.
So if you can move all your holding into the ISA, that avoids the hassle of having to convert, and it won't cost you much to move it as the spread is so small.
But yes, ii's conversion cost is annoying.
I'm sure the FCA has already told the mngmt what they need to do, or at least how much. Ords will get diluted, bondholders might have to accept a haircut, provided that the ords have also been burned, and they will need to sell some of the book.
New debt would be very expensive, I would be surprised if that's on the menu.
They've said that their maximum daily buyback would be 150k... if they bought the max every day for a month, compared to the 970mio shares in issue it would be ... trivial.
The only merit of buybacks is if they prevent gradual dilution due to executive share schemes.
Otherwise they are a distraction and a waste of the capital for which only a while ago they issued more shares!!
If I were not already well over my max holding, I would be more than happy to see the SP at this level, what an opportunity.
I have or had about £35k in here, average 220p, sold half when it fell to 132p, would be happy to come back in, but not yet.
It's all very well the IOCs saying they won't resume production unless contracts are honoured, and in a civilised country that would be all very well and fine, but this is not a civilised country.
The fields could be expropriated... remember Iran?... and the Chinese brought in to run them. Yes, GKP could go to court in London, for all the practical good that would do.
A long way to go before this is any more than a punt... well, we live in hope.
