Chizzy - Soon Bardar and Co are going to be out of their depth. I totally agree with Missy-king post. What this will require is vertical marketing and distribution. (Assuming the patient aspect is airtight). All the planets are aligned for this to be taken to another level.
I am absolutely convinced that this will end-up with a 'large outfit' (possibly a venture capitalist, even). I came across this article some time ago and was one of the reasons I stuck it out this long. I just can not get my head around the possibilities , if a large pharma got behind this product.

I must admit I also expected the SP to end the day higher than it did. The dilution just did not qualify this SP reaction. For me, the SP has always been an enigma. After achieving every milestone, this company appears to have flown under the radar. I would have expected for it to have drawn attention from other significant investors at every stage and large amount of media exposure culminating in upward movement of the SP.
Question is; with a company having so much perceived potential and having no doubt the product works and over the counter sales in major markets granted, Why has the SP remained stagnant?
The Times has picked up on the FDA approval and exposed this fact to general public. It will be interesting to see the reaction of institutional interest in the coming days. Especially as investor seminar is on the way, 22nd June.
Will the likes of IC pickup on this story?
As many here have stated, this is a longer-term investment, until such time as the company can show revenues/profits and start paying out dividends. Having acknowledged this, surely it is the time to buy-in to get in at the bottom. Perhaps some will reflect on this day and have an Amazon moment in a couple of years' time.
Just thoughts...
The FDA approval, on paper, is an obvious foregone conclusion. This being a US outfit, fully open/susceptible to pharmaceutical lobby, makes the decision unpredictable. The paradox now is that if Eroxon is successful after UK launch, it could encourage 'interested parties' to try and block/interfere with the FDA decision.
Boots have thrown their weight behind this product and shown absolute confidence. Anyone familiar with corporate marketing will appreciate that an advertising campaign has to gain many approvals before launch. Ratio of marketing revenue vs potential profit is the driver. This comes in addition to all the trial successes (including FDA) and Coopers due diligence. Anyone talking the sp down at this moment is probably looking for a low entry point. My tuppence only.
Just passed through Gatwick. It was on top shelf with just one pack remaining. In the past week, the two boots who had it on bottom shelf have now transferred it to top.
Incidently, 'story of Viagra s1 e1' was aired on discovery Channel on Friday, an interesting watch, with input from Pizer's marketing men.
Just to be boring...the application for FDA approval is a fact (which the board stated were optimistic of positive outcome), the guesswork/rumour is the timing of the response.

"I would guess that half the so called investors have no idea what the company does" .
If anyone finds out could they please enlighten me. (Surely, they can not outsource and then sit on their hands)
Totally agree, LO are among six entities that can cause game changing movements in the SP. This includes the current management.
However, any selling by these would only be relevant if it was backed up by solid motivation.
Regarding the numbers, LO appear to be just tinkering at the edges. A worrying event would be if they placed significant holding with a broker.
Until we get first indication of sales or FDA news (or some unforeseen event) , this is likely to be the trend and a muse for traders and day traders.
Following this thread, it appears to me that PI,s are focusing upon a quick turn profit. ( akin to 'stags' during privatization days). If this goes the Viagra route (which, signs, are it will...and then some), makes this an investment vehicle.
Whilst not getting ahead of myself, I see FUM entering the FTSE250, which will automatically bring on board investment funds, perpetuating it further towards the big one and hedge funds etc.
Depending upon Lombard's own investment strategy, when they get close to it, they could transfer their stake to any fund manger with longer term stratgey.
My view of FDA decision is that obviously an approval will catapult this to a different level, there will be SP turbulence in the short-term, if FDA decide to play 'silly buggers'. In the longer term, nobody's putting the genie back in the bottle. This will be available worldwide, including US. The question is, will the company driving it be FUM?
I visited the two Kingston upon Thames boots and found one stocking Eroxon, however, on the bottom shelve, the other at Bentall Center didn't stock it. It appears that unless one has actually heard about the product and is looking for it, it's not going to be found. I guess the sales figures are going to hinge on product awareness.
Doing a product press release is not marketing! FUM/Coopers really need to get their finger out.
It is a little scary observing on these BB,s boards the amount of money claimed to be traded by individuals and the quality of debate regarding rudimentary understanding of trading mechanism of the markets. I guess it's the new normal for old school.
....got to be one of the better bets on AIM..... This is a no brainier....it is only going one way ....etc etc.
Fund managers who are responsible for client portfolios just can not indulge in such indiscretions. They have to show results on books. That is the rational behind crystallizing a fraction of holding, while still being massively invested for the obvious potential. May not be genius but definitely a strategy. To that end, many PI,s have also top sliced. (I have personally resisted, as events are finally moving on at FUM). 'Didn't see that one coming' scenario can happen.
This has possible brought on the dampness of beds, what do you reckon Darth?
PI,s can afford themselves the luxury of being of higher risk averse. (hopefully within their means).
imo
This is more of a hedging exercise rather than book balancing. I have seen this happen many times, especially when the sell bucks logic/trend. 7p placing converted to 56p (It's not on paper anymore). Nothing is risk averse and FDA decision is one, however, if the can is kicked down the road, it should only have a short term affect on the SP due to it's worldwide potential. An approval will give the SP an exponential boost!
