Nothing confirmed yet but my gut feeling is it could be the end of this week. Maybe this Friday night thing so perhaps be prepared for a Monday morning increase?

Agree. I'm holding. If this morning is anything to go by the official vaccine approval will see this leap again.

Had been thinking along similar lines as I have a fair proportion of my portfolio in this basket. What would you see as a sensible amount i.e. ratio wise?

Appreciate that this point (along with just about every other post on here) is speculation but I wonder where this will go when the vaccine is given the all-clear? Difficult to price in as anything could happen. I'm thinking £5+ once confirmed or am I being too optimistic?

I have to agree with TheDevil on this. Supply and demand as always. Pent up demand with a lot of people with surplus 'treat' money to spend and quite frankly more desperate to get away from it all than we've seen for a long time. I include myself in this category!

Yup. Good start. Upped my stake considerably first thing today having initially bought back in at the end of March and topped up throughout. This continues to be a very sound investment.

Held these shares for a while now and things are ticking along nicely for Biffa. Recent acquisition is a real positive and demonstrates the strength here. Long term this feels like a very safe investment.

This has always been on for £14 and beyond. Just a question of how long it takes to get there. I think we could hit it within Q4 2020.

I sold majority of my holding at £2.77 (owed me £1.05) but have kept some in the game just in case. Reduces my risk as already significantly up but am eager to see how this pans out! Probably doesn't help but my point is there's no need to cash in all of it.

I agree with your summary. I guess it depends on the outcome of any negotiations between WH decision makers and Ceasers. Would be nice to see it back up to £3 for the deal to be done. Long term this remains an exceptionally good investment so whilst selling at a considerable profit is tempting I am very much inclined to hold and see where this goes over the next 6/12/18 months.

My logic way back was that DIY would do OK through this period. Did look at Kingfisher but decided against it as too risky - TPK represents a much more dependable investment. Looks like this is being reflected in the SP. Holding for circa £14 which, I feel, is perfectly achievable over time.

Not trying to clutch at straws here (already confident that TPK is a safe bet) but doesn’t this kind of statement from BoJo bode well for this company..?

My first post on this site having been learning fast over the last couple of months (including the valuable lesson that day trading is not for me and also that around 50% of the contributors on the various forums have hidden agendas..!).

I agree that TPK is one of the safest investments on here. Managed to get a decent size buy in at £6.50 early on during the biggest drop and did really well by selling in the space of just a few days. Have since reinvested circa £10k worth and also have a target price of £14.00 which I think is very realistic.

Of all my portfolio this is the one that does not keep me awake at night!
