Cheers Suthy,
I am finding it difficult to contain my excitement. Scared too to take any chances with day trading, not that is my forte - I tend to make some good gains but lose about the same. To sit on my hands is the only approach for me now. Very exciting times!! ATB
11 days on from the last RNS, I re-note the following details: -
• Quantum Mining: “The new qubit based algorithm is significant enough to encourage the Company to file a patent application to protect this BTC mining development, which will be lodged shortly.”
• “A patent application on the specific AI techniques developed, will be filed as soon as practical.”
• ASIC Development and Second Patent “Drafting of the technical document for the Company’s second patent application is now complete and implementation on an FPGA is nearly finished.”
• “Based on data we have recorded to date, we expect to see a higher performance than originally estimated; this is mainly due to the optimisations which will be included in the second patent application, based on the work of our cryptography expert and the coding techniques implemented by our FPGA/ASIC Design Team.”
I can’t stop wondering what FG meant by “which will be lodged shortly” and, “as soon as practical” and, “nearly finished”.
The fact that two independent authorities have been appointed to validate the claims is, however, crystal clear.
I’m fit to burst as I think QBT is too. GLA patient holders.
Just did a dummy sell for 500k and was offered 2.725 so buyers are out there. I'm certainly NOT SELLING!
Good morning Suthy. Agreed, we are tied to bitty, like it or not. Maybe many holders here see the correlation as the main reason to hold. I, for one, am not in that camp; I like the longer-term stability of everything else. The next patent application, is hopefully round the corner and it will send the SP northwards, could be double figures - time will tell. I’d certainly top slice then. The other biggie for me is mining bitty. News on both fronts would surely guarantee double figures. The speeds achieved could see us into triple figures. Merely what I see and bearing in mind, I’m sometimes (too often) wrong, don’t take my opinion as gospel. ATB
Peeps seem to get excited here if/when bitty starts to move. As previously posted by some here, QTB is not just about bitty, or cryptocurrencies. The real value is in the technology behind blockchain. The applications here, are limitless. They also lack the volatility of crypto. So, excitement as bitty headed towards $44k earlier this morning but then she fell back. If bitty hangs around the $38 to £42k mark, we will struggle to say goodbye to sub 3p here. $44k and I think we might breach this barrier WITHOUT any news from FG, without the big buys going on in the background and everything else that stirs the sentiment pot. All IMO, please DYOR and GLA patient holders.
@bamb, great find thank you. Very informative! 26 other companies (In the US) listed so tells me there is a lot of competition hence stressing the need to lodge the other patent applications. The race was always on GLA
It beggars belief! What is Vigo Consulting paid to do? Is it plausible there is no news to keep the SP as low as possible for a buyback. Nothing else makes any sense to me.
Reply received "We are aiming to have it up and available on Youtube within the next day or so (It's currently with our editors). We will send you a link to the file as soon as it's live." GLA
I emailed Stellium earlier asking for a link to any recording. Will post it if I get it. GLA
What a delight to see the constant dross being replaced with constructive posting here! Included in https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/975914/argo-blockchain-signs-supply-agreement-with-intel-975914.html “Updating on the construction of its 200MW flagship cryptocurrency mining facility Helios in Dickens County, Texas, the company said it has placed an order with PA Transformer for four further main power transformers which will provide an additional 600MW of total power to the Helios site.
The transformers are identical to the initial order of transformers the company is currently installing and will be delivered in the first and second quarters of 2023.” Forgive me, as I haven’t kept up with all the developments here, but today’s RNS appears to be talking about developing the next 600 MW phase and not paying for the rigs to fill phase 1. Today’s news is great news and bearing in mind bitty has done her reversal again, our SP is holding up well IMO. I added another 7,744 first thing this morning. GLA LTH
@Peakview, apologies for the late response - Wednesday is the day I get to spend with one/two of my grandkids!
Personally, I think the BoD have really mishandled the potential publicity with First Gas being imminent. When I used the term 'playing it safe' I should have qualified that. Gas prices are volatile, and we do not know when they will start a reverse trend. Being late to production is one thing but the invasion of Ukraine presented these unthinkable prices and every day we miss, is costing us dearly. The almost total lack of news was a mystery, and I cannot think why we are not publicising this fantastic news.
Seeing RG selling today sparks the thought that any II and the administrators would want the news flooding the market to push the SP higher. It is a complete nonsense! There must be a reason and I would like it to be anything but just another bout of incompetence. AH is paid £330k salary plus the perks and has been the CEO since February 2018. How can we justify this level of remuneration? ATB
"The Icefall Project is underlain by Stuhini and Labarge Group volcanic and sedimentary rocks and is continuous along strike from Brixton Metals Corp's Thorn Gold-Copper-Silver Project. Granitic intrusions have been mapped on the northern and southern bounds of the claim block, which covers 8,704 hectares. The property is bounded between the Llewellyn fault to the west and King Salmon fault to the east, with several north-trending structures noted on the property. Several showings which require immediate follow-up, includes sample results of up to 35.5 grams per tonne silver and 0.5% copper." Will this drive the SP north? GLA
One could write a book on the failings of this BoD. I’d really like to know why there is no publicity on the imminent supply of our own gas since/with last Friday’s announcement of the commencement of the back-gassing. One plausible excuse could be the catalogue of foul-ups/mishaps over the last few years and the BoD/advisors consider they should ‘play it safe’ and wait for the actual arrival of first gas just in case there is yet another delay. I really don’t think that is the reason! Also, as posted by the well-informed here with hands-on experience, it is unlikely. Further, I believe the world at large could do with some positive news given the atrocities in Ukraine and the spiraling fuel prices.
With regards to the continuing misrepresentation of buys/sells here, it does seem that this is currently far worse than the usual reporting. Market manipulation? Since you must have a buyer for every seller, it should be a near-even split daily - save for the MM’s building their reserves. Something’s afoot - other than the BoD’s deficiencies.
One has only to read a few posts here to realise the extent of the dissatisfaction around the BoD. No publicity means a lost opportunity and, I am surprised we have not really maintained a meaningful increase in the SP today. I too would like to have seen us reach 45 to 50 before first gas and then an increased gain with the money flowing in rather than out. All IMO and GLA.
"The UK government is to phase out Russian oil and oil products by the end of 2022.
This transition period will give the market, businesses and supply chains more than enough time to replace Russian imports – which make up 8% of UK demand, it said.
It echoes a similar proposal from Washington, where President Biden is set to announce a complete US ban on Russian oil, gas and coal imports.
The EU has also today made moves to reduce the continent's reliance on Russian gas, saying it aims to cut its demand by two thirds by the end of the year.
The UK is less reliant on Russian fossil fuels than many European countries. But Russian supplies still make up 8% of overrall imports into the UK, and 18% of UK diesel comes from Russia."
@npm1970, No new cash for me at the mo, so having to sell other holdings to top-up here. Someone posted here last week that we could see £1 this year. I personally think this is plausible and with the Ukrainian shenanigans, I think we will get a better return here than crypto or precious metals. Time will tell. ATB
Thanks for this latest from FinnCap. I saw this yesterday

Below Fair Value: IOG (£0.36) is trading below our estimate of fair value (£1.23) Different analysts come up with different figures but one thing for sure is 36p is dirt cheap. LOts of promise. GLA LTH and well done the patient ones.
A massive week here with first gas around the corner, GLA.
