The only reason I can think of for them taking this down is it makes them look like they’re stalling, puts the spotlight on themselves having not ratified a pretty good mining lease while allowing illegal mining to destroy forestry and water bodies with no benefit to Ghana. All the other posts are about tackling galamsey and how Ghana is open to investment whereas ours is a plea to have our legitimate license ratified for the good of Ghana. Doesn’t look open on their part.

33p was at a higher spod price but without a lot of milestones with regards to permits. Personally I think 40-50p but it’s anyone’s guess. Assore have invested in a copper miner over the last year, they’re taking the battery metals space seriously. If piedmont don’t cough up on the day we want a decision cut them loose immediately, none of this waiting around for them to sort a loan it’s do or die. Assore will happily take their place.

Really terrible words to hear in that interview, they seem intent on defacing their own investment. Sounds like we could be going for joint debt funding as well, looks like the share price is going to continue to fall. Our only hope here is assore post ratification if we can even get that across the line.

I always thought the 50% offtake that they weren’t converting would be a problem. How can they force them out though other than an assore takeover? They’ve spent millions. MIIF we’re invited to join the offtake process for the remaining 50% so it’s definitely on the table. Perhaps assore will offer piedmont their money back for the 22.5%?

All MIIF have done is subscribe to shares in Atlantic lithium at market price for 3%. The 6% interest is non binding and they have to invest into our subsidiaries and that hasn’t happened yet. It’s black and white surely there’s no wrong doing?

They can ratify it, the offer doesn’t go anywhere.

When in march does parliament adjourn? They surely want to get this over the line before then, the board still seems confident. Discussions must be in the latter stages now. Would there be an RNs if they had renegotiated before taking it to parliament?

A doubled resource will no doubt get things rolling, complete the dfs, then secure funding and offtakers from there. If that can be done by the end of the year then we could be many multiples of where we’re at now. The market loves money, funding is the key catalyst to make it all a reality.

Feel bad for saying this, hope it stays this low for a while longer so I can top up as much as possible! Diamond in the dirt here.

The only thing I can see being an issue is Edward Koranteng buying our shares, he got a discount to everyone else but I suppose he was non exec at the time. Could seem like a sweetener? Parliament seems to have settled down now and they’re on with normal business for once. How long can it take to agree on a royalty range? Bend over and take it, expand the resource there’s plenty to go around.
