Hi Michael, in a nutshell both those large uncrossing trades took place around the 60p level and the stock has just gone one way since then................up !!!!

So on the basis that I think GS et al are sitting on over 50% of ITV, i.e at least 2billion shares, by my rough calculation GS and co. are up over a £1billion in profit !!!!

Just looking at the share volume today, over half has been conducted outside of the order book which suggests to me that there will be some notable movement in the price this afternoon one way or the other.

Yep Zoros, but today could be different in that as I said this morning already its the last Friday trading session of the year and a lot of funds, institutions etc. tend to do their portfolios rebalancing before closing for the Xmas and new year period.

This afternoon and those after hours trades later could be very revealing !!

It will be interesting either way and especially as this is the last Friday trading session of the quarter and 2020 !

What a year its been !!!!

Could be very eventful if nothing else happens in the last hour of trading today.

Tomorrow morning we have futures expiry and as its the last Friday trading session of the month, quarter and indeed of 2020, we could see all sorts of portfolio rebalancing, program trading and goodness knows what else !!!

ITV has been talked about already in many quarters as a stock to follow in 2021 and as most of the senior traders will be away or remote working from Monday, expect some sort of volatility in the markets which will be unusual this time round (covid) as Christmas is normally a very quiet time.

We also know GS like to play their games while the cats away so the next couple of weeks will be very interesting as a lot of the big market players will be away tucking into their mince pies over the festive period !!

No, not me but some good posts on there today.

Nige, GS and their cronies are in no rush to push the stock higher everyday, don't forget I believe between them all they hold well over 2billion shares in their 'secret' accounts, so just a 1p rise nets at least a cool £20m profit between them !!!!

I did say back in the Summer, these lot are a waste of time. I have had dealings with them before and they are the biggest bandits in the market place, bigger than Goldmans and JP Morgan and that's only half of it.

The company launched their advertising campaign on ITV last night, expect the rest of the sector and holiday companies to start advertising across all ITV media platforms and much earlier than previous years due to the pandemic .
