All looking good !27 Oct 2019 12:58
Yep, as already mentioned viewing figures for England v South Africa next weekend should top the most viewed rugby match on terrestrial tv since England's last World cup final against Australia. All bodes well for some last minute premium paid advertising and for re-negotiating ad slots for the 2020 Rugby Home Nations tournament.
Just read that Dancing on Ice has been bought by the Dutch so that's now nearly 20 territories signed up, with Love island also being re-commissioned in the US and Australia with a few other countries in the pipeline, that bodes well with Winter Love Island also being aired soon.
I'm a celebrity hits our screens next month, which is always welcomed this time of the year and with England's Euro qualifiers next month and the tournament itself in 2020, there's quite a lot to look forward.
And don't forget unlike so many of companies of late reporting over inflated profit figures and practicing dodging accounting (KPMG - On behalf of Goldman Sachs), around 85% of ITV'S revenues is in the form of cash !!
So all in all looking good, dividend yield also a bonus and with WPP reporting their best quarter advertising figures last week for the year the dark horizons now seem far away.
With Suchmyballsachs keeping a lid on the price (I think they may try calling it down this week) it still makes me wonder why? If Liberty don't want ITV and ballsachs are long of untold millions of shares in the company why not start moving the price North and then any interested parties will have to 'bid up' for the company.
Anyone notice the BT/ITV adverts of late...…...interesting ??
Anyway, that's enough from me but here's something else that could also prove a ratings winner come 2020 ! :-
