The absence of an update is potentially worrying as it suggests some failure in the risk management process. An acceptable risk management process should, by now, have identified the time to deliver the necessary repairs and, in conjunction with the insurers, the cost to do so.

RNS confirms that insurance is in place. Subject to the insurance covering both physical damage and consequential loss, the effect of the fire on gross profit should be zero. Therefore today's sp drop represents an excellent buying opportunity.
