You should not sell now in the first leg up, as shorters will have to buy back soon as their recent shorts already result in a loss, though some early shorts may still be in profits, but that margin is getting smaller. With shorters closing, the share will have another leg up or two. In fact , it might be a good idea to add more to capture the momentum. The perception of the company situation has changed, so there should be upside.

The shorters will get burnt , for sure, as WG. has increased the order and the high margin business has surpassed the traditional oil business. It is not easy thing to do at current climate to have growth of orders . The company is ready to transition to new energy sector, while having flexibility to continue the traditional business , ready to be ditched once there are enough orders in new businesses. I bet shorters will have to close soon with SP recovering.

AKO Capital has made quite bit of profits by reducing its short position back in June. I guess if the share goes up a bit more, there will be more short closings , otherwise, there will be little profit margins left. Let us hope there would be enough bulls around.

BARC is getting really good low price for the share buy back. With more shares out of register, the dividend pay out will be increased in the future. I guess people investing in banks are for the dividends mainly , including pension funds and individuals

Look like it is a very much a managed process to close the shorts with gradual movement of share to maximizing the profits. BR will probably make a massive profit with early short position. The share will probably move back slowly to £3 plus next year.

An US investor has built up nearly 14% stake in AO. Is it going to buy this company like many UK companies undervalued and being targeted by Americans.

Dividend is paltry, not worth to mentioning. I think share buy back of £500 million will push it a bit higher slowly, as it is a managed process. Expect no further downside , perhaps to £2 level with the significant buy back.

Surely HSBC is in a better situation than back in May when the share is around 440-450. Now The bank has turned the corner in making a lot of profits, I feel it is just a matter of time we will see some recovery in price.

Both Barc and Lloyd are making billions of profits in recent reports, it seems that banks are doing well and on recovery road. Even Deutch bank is making huge profit for a change which was on the verge of collapse. Porche guy's comment seems to have been written several times. I think it is probably crap. HSBC has been in China for hundreds of years, do not think you know how business operate in China. With sanction being removed on Iran by USA soon, Huawai's issue relating to CFO, Mrs Meng, will be resolved accordingly. It was all Trump's crazy move. USA and China will have to work somehow together soon.

It could be related to drop in HK where there has been drops for several days. I guess we see rebound soon as market was affected by China targeting educational stocks, causing general malaise.
