The organization is old and out of fashion as pensions funds have not performed well as there is nothing clever in tracking the index , any monkeys can do that. It would be good if someone can give some information on WG in terms of its share of non-oil side of business revenue, and what is the growth rate . Recent announcements are mostly on renewable or other infrastructural deals. Clearly it is making a huge transition from oil business, the question how this is changing the profit scenarios.

I tend to agree with this one. Averaging down has been very bad strategy for me ,as every time you think it cannot get lower, it is getting lower. Somehow one feels that MM's are deliberately targeting oneself. For WG. , I think it still has 6-7 billion revenue with increasing margins of business, it will recover when we see the real number at the end of the year. The SP will respond in due course.

This dog is languishing at historical low with little dividend pay out. It needs to do something to get share up and increase dividends. With so many new banks, digital or otherwise, its traditional banking will die out . Need to go with the time and technologies.

HK market is actually rising where HSBC is also listed. China is about the only country with no serious outbreak of cov-19 and will see great growth. This is why HSBC is very focused on far east market to make serious profits. Contrary to one previous guy's post on doubt of its presence in China, HSBA will capture the growth there like it did before the pandemics. People should not bring political BS here .
