I've very occasionally traded when I have had a week off work and been at home. Having done so I am sure that a decent income could be achieved.

When FIPP is profitable they could pay a Divi or they could use the money to invest in more IP which will hopefully then grow the SP even further. I imagine that most shareholders would opt for the latter. I too prefer investing to trading as I work full time and my current portfolio reflects this. To be trading especially on AIM you need to be ready to react to events in very quick time, something that I can only do on days off.

I imagine that they are hear in FIPP more for SP Growth, as Divi's may not materialise for a while.

I imagine that AXA and IP2IPO had a good chunk of them and that the MM's have the rest.

Got a reply from NC re Major Shareholders. The Morning Star list not up to date. The most up to date list of Major Shareholders is at, http://www.frontierip.co.uk/investor-relations/substantial-shareholdings.aspx 9 holders have 73.8% of FIPP. In addition the Morning Star is correct about the 2 Directors, Marcus Yeoman and Jackie McKay who between them have a further 1.128%. Therefore about 25% left for us PI's. It is important that directors and management have built up a significant stake in the business and as I flagged in the announcement of the placing we are pleased with the institutional support we have been able to attract.

In the below post. I meant 37% available for PI's last Friday (Major shareholders percentage was 63%). LOL - it was getting late.

Just last Friday there was 63% available for us PI's. That probably gives us a very good indication of how difficult it is going to be to get hold of any quantity of these at a decent price. If a very positive RNS is released the SP could rocket. This is still below the radar.

The next full update is likely to be the Preliminary Results. A date has not yet been announced but it would normally be in October. The early one in September last year was required because FIPP were about to undertake a fundraising, but this is not normal practice. However significant events will be announced as they occur along with relevant news from their portfolio companies. So there could well be further news prior to the prelims.

I usually go by the figure in Box 7 re the Threshold rather than the box lower down with the voting rights. On holding RNS's there is often a discrepancy between the 2. Can anyone clear this up?

Thanks for finding my earlier post and answering Del's question. I calculated when I did that post that there were about 37% left for PI's. However with AXA taking 5% it is likely to be even less now.

Indeed, I did mention to him that I had highlighted FIPP on this BB and told him my user name. I imagine he has had a read of the posts by now. FIPP came to my attention as a result of my research of Director Buys, then further research into the company and NC and reading of the RNS's convinced me that this is a company going places.
