I'll try this AJ Bell code next week. So odd that they are all making such hard work of this, when companies 1 thousandth of the size are easily traded on AIM.....
Reply from HL this morning, lazy....
I am writing further to our previous telephone call.
As discussed, I previously requested for our stock file team to see if we can add Yamana (AUY) to the HL Platform.
Unfortunately, as Yamana Gold Inc. is a Canadian incorporated company and trades with far greater volume on the Toronto listing than the new LSE listing we will continue to trade the Toronto exchange under the ticker YRI and will therefore not be adding the LSE listing to the platform.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
I hope this has been of assistance. If you have any other questions, please get back to me.
Yep! But maybe if enough people annoy them on the phone, they'll get their act together.
I rang HL this morning (I have an account with them). They said they don't automatically allow trades in every available listing, but if here are quite a few requests for a particular share, they will allow trades,. SO get ringing folks.
Like some of the messagers below, I just want to clarify, will we all need to surrender our shares, not just the 40-something % oligarchs....??
Forgive me if I am being thick. I used to be intelligent but it's been a very hard week at work. Re this share issue notice on my AJ Bell youinvest acc, we are being asked to buy a GBP 0.01 share at a cost of GBP 0.10 per share? Tell me I've got it wrong.
No entries today. Just testing is this board still live....

To my knowledge, you can't transfer pre-owned shares into an ISA. You need to sell first, pay any CGT issues, then rebuy the shares within the ISA wrapper. Apologies if I've misunderstood query. As per previous posts, I hereby issue caveats about accepting financial advice from a non-financial advisor!
Fairly new here but have committed a worryingly large chunk of proceeds of business sale to this share. Would be great to be included in this e-mail report re conversation with Bert. shipleyvets at aol.com
I have been lurking here for a while, and have a (for me) significant investment with HUM, currently running at a slight loss to what I paid. I know only one geologist contact who is familar with West Africa mining. When I spoke to him about the sluggish share price he commented that they were having vicious sandstorms recently in the area. Anyone confirm this? Sometimes we can get so caught up in figures that we forget that unfamiliar factors can be at play. If progress has been slowed by such a process, I guess some company communication would be nice....
I would interpret non exclusive to mean they can have a good go at the Indian market but GE can engage other distributors if it suits them.
Just got in at 3.18. 1st post here.
