Personally I've made quite a few bob in this in the distant past and sold out at 14p at a time when the outfit was a lot smaller.
Years later and following a number of problems and much dilution, then, disastrously for SUN, Brexit and Covid the company seems to have survived well and is now starting to slowly grow organically .
Having got back in I currently sit on an average of 2.5p and expect at some point to be back in profit. May take some time organically with strains on the world's health services but one should never discount the possibility of a takeover, possibly by Smith and Nephew. Hopefully not at these prices though.

Craig. noted but in fairness the guys can't win. If they don't buy they are accused of not having skin in the game. If they do they are exposed to insider trading whispers.

Surely the simplest way to move this forward would be for kurt to either phone or email someone in the know at UNESCO to see if they have responded to Baylan's request. Obviously they won't reveal any info regarding the details but at least a confirmation of a response would enable us and local politicians to put more pressure on the government.

Also to bear in mind, without doubt the lead in the tailings is more toxic by far than the zinc element. So purely from a pollution argument, that should be the first circuit not the last. Is there more risk involved with dust remittance from agitating the tailings twice?
From a JLP commercial perspective, they would obviously prefer to deal with the most profitable parts first so maybe there should have been some sort of collaboration between JLP, the government and say the World Bank to ensure earliest possible resolution of the pollution without compromising JLP financially.

WIW. Of course you are entitled to your opinion as am I. I wasn't saying your opinion was irrelevant. I was merely stating my own opinion that BEM being 70% owned by Swedes is irrelevant as to why we have not got the green light.
That of course assumes that the 70% are all swedes which we can't be sure of without a forensic examination of the SDR register.

In my opinion, the reason for the obfuscation is because Sweden would rather have the setup run by a fully state owned operation (LKAB) where profits and taxes remain Swedish.
I believe the Sami are just a handy scapegoat for the government and LKAB to nail to the mast.
Surely pressure from loads of Swedish investors would carry a lot more clout than from British investors.
One could argue Brexit is a factor as a referendum was first moored by Cameron over 6 years ago although I feel this less likely as most didn't believe it would happen.

It's all over the news today about how small investors grouped together and shafted the big hedge funds which were heavily shorting gamestop. Some made millions while hedge funds lost billions . Turned the company around as it multi multi bagged with two of the investors added to the board.

TSP. I hear what you say but the only reason he won't say yes is ( imho) because we are a british registered company not a swedish one.
So the way I see it, a load of British shareholders filling his inbox will be a waste of time. Perhaps you should be addressing the swedish shareholders.
