Got my paperwork now. With a consolidation at 1 for 30 (not forgetting an earlier one at 1 for 10 of course), my 300k shares costing £22k are now going to be 10k shares worth £305.
It is vividly imprinted on my brain, a conversation I had with Bozzerelli after the suspension at around 1.8p when he insisted that even at that time the shares were worth multiples of that and that he would always work in the best interest of the shareholders. Trouble is he didn't say which ones.

Tom. I'm a bit on the fence as regards itv. It is true that performance had been lacklustre exiting from the controls of covid, and whilst a 100% sp rise over 18 months is not normally to be sniffed at, we should all bear in mind that itv is still considerably lower than at pre-covid times.
Personally I bought back in now partly as I felt it had more or less bottomed out, and partly for the hope and expectation of dividend resumption as I start to rebalance my portfolio to one more befitting an OAP.

Nige. Back in at last with a modest 5k at 103p yesterday. Missed the 102p but I reckon (hope) they have bottomed out now.

whilst trolls can be a distraction, I personally don't find it any more healthy to just have a board where a small number of regular posters continually ooze positivity whilst patting each other on the back.
Not suggesting we are at that point on xtr board but where it does happen, it is easy to see how more naive and less experienced investors can be ducked in to unsuitable investments.
Who decides what is a troll anyway compared with an honestly negative poster?

Phatbaz. Agree. Had some very bad experiences on AIM with pre-emptive waivers. Unscrupulous directors can use them to dilute LTHs to oblivion. Hopefully though, XTR not now in that category.

Not looking to pick an argument at all. Just commenting on aspects of the incentive scheme which as Steve confirms has 3 separate aspects. I'm afraid the cynic in me has seen the phrase "to align the interest of directors, officers, employees and consultants with those of shareholders" misused too many times, especially on AIM.
That said, I was a little less cynical about such schemes in my working days at HSBC.

That's a rather selective response. What about the other parts of the appendix which refer to up to 3 x annual salary? Not to be sniffed at methinks

That's all very well but the staff and directors have had ample time up until very recently to buy in the market and take the risk just like the rest of us and indeed with probably less risk, being able to see first hand how things are progressing. I would have like to have seem more detail on the incentive scheme to be more able to assess its dilution effect and be happy that the shares are not just freebies
