Whether you believe Mikesurt or not, it is invariably true that there are many managers of AIM companies who want to have their snouts in the trough and do as little as possible for maximum reward, all at the expense of shareholders.
Which is a great shame, especially with companies like BMR/JLP where there is enough to go around for everyone if it's managed properly.
I for one would have no worries about big bonuses for successful bosses, as long as I was also getting a slice. trouble is, all too often it doesn't work that way.

I'm not sure about that. I thought he said the lower figure was for working out a programme to remove it and the cost of removal would be around 2 million. Might be wrong though.
But as already alluded to, it's only 90m down. Surely they should be able to quite cheaply lower a laser cutter and mini grabber down the hole and slice it up for removal.

Jeffrey - if you are referring to mikesurt and vanZyl, the latter is not a BMR poster nor probably a shareholder. Mikesurt only appeared on BMR board when the brown stuff started hitting the fan. I wouldn't pay too much attention to them.

I came on Board with JLP a few months ago as a hedge against losing everything through my long term BMR holding. I have to say I find it bizarre how much negativity there is on here from some posters.
I and many other BMR holders would give our eye teeth to be in the same position as holders of JLP. You have projects up and running which are growing and producing a good income and near time profitability, with more projects to come on stream in the near future.
Some of us have been in BMR for 10 years plus and saw BMR as an early retirement present, but have been butt raped twice by either crooked or useless directors to the point where all we have now is a bit of paper which may or may not give us a tiny royalty income some years hence, but which is effectively worthless.
So come on guys, get a grip and look at the positives.

I have to be. The Missus is desperate for a new SUV and if these hit 60p ish next week, they are paying for it!
Seven years plus is plenty for me, and yes, good news on Eneo will spike it to at least that. But they have shown themselves to be totally inept on getting new retail customers, CNG remains a wish for the forseeable future, the energy wells, if they happen, are at least 2 years down the line to any profit from this, costs have not been nailed, especially BoD costs, and the royalty issue remains a running sore in our side.
So I would rather take a smaller profit in the near term than see it vanish yet again as I have 3 times over the years.

Despite all this, I remain cautiously optimistic about the next 9-12 months, on the caveat that we are not being lied to again that is.
