Black Swan, it would appear that The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari is just telling you what all politicians tell you. They say what you wish to hear to reassure you that it is nothing to worry about and its safe to continue to invest in their country. However judging from Afamefuna's post below, sabotage and theft is never going to stop. Its been going on for 30+ years and the authorities have never been able to halt the constant attack’s. The jungles of Nigeria are the perfect cover for rebels and the discontented, impoverished population will never cease in their attempt to balance the inequality.
I guess even the new pipeline will be attacked regularly. Where there is a need to survive there will always be a way found.
At the moment this is turning out to be the worst investment I have ever made!
Don’t worry chaps I only listen to half of what half of you saying and don’t listen to half of what the other half are saying. The delay in coming out of suspension has allowed me the luxury of time to do a lot of my own research and following this board for the last few months has helped me reach the conclusion that San Leon is well worth a punt but not worth risking as much as I first intended. It seems to be the correct decision for the time being as I currently hold a losing position but with great optimism.
Thank you Redeyemines, just business indeed, quite complex! Is there an agreed price, perhaps a percentage above or below say Brent oil price? I will take a look at the documentation Callasjunkie kindly mentioned.
Thank you Callasjunkie, you have an excellent knowlage about the details of the deal to be able to answer so fast! I have also been reading your other input to this site with great intrest and feel your posts are well informed and help ballance the often heated debate.
After listening to Alaric and Sam on this site and taking their advice I am now a shareholder, at last. Sam could you explain to a new shareholder how Shell are responsible for payments to Eroton as I thought that Shell divested their 30% entirely to Eroton and had nothing at all to do with OML18 anymore. Why are Shell paying Eroton for oil production they have nothing to do with? What have I missed in the divestment deal back in 2015.
I say Toolongoil, if you are talking about Sam and Alaric that’s a tad unfair old chap. The knowledgeable and in depth research that these two chaps undertake on our behalf will help scores of people to realise their investment dreams and secure a fruitful financial future.
I for one am cashing in savings from other investments to put it all in San Leon. Without the help and advice from this fine pair of financial experts I just wouldn’t have the confidence to take such a step to secure my family’s future.
Just going from a statment in the RNS of 04/01/22.
"a further extension of the Conditional Payment Waiver to 31 January 2022 or, if sooner, the termination of discussions or the signing of an agreement to effect the Potential Transaction, "
It seems rather a long time in the making so surley tommorow is San Leon's big day. I hope so, I am to be up before the market opens, ready and waiting to invest. Good luck all.
The much talked about and long waited for good news is promised for Monday Afa, yes tomorrow! That will wipe the smile from your face. Expect a great rise for San Leon as it has now re-positioned itself with Decklar to concentrate on the RTO deal forthcoming.
Afamefuna, Al is considerably easier to comprehend than you, what he says makes sense. He talks certainty in an uncertain investing world. Most agree with him about the incredible potential here and totally see that this share is going to rocket as soon as the opening bell is rung.
And What a fine group of well educated experts they are Alarik. https://www.erotonep.com/our-leadership/
