Only bought in today, moved funds from GGP on a hunch following comments read here and the last Company Update.; so I'm only the 30% from today up! Only he says....
For me that's still worthy of a tipple; salted caramel Rum toast after Home made pizza....
biggest mistake was naivety when i first invested in AIM shares; started a SIPP and thought it was easy money and triust eerything inred in LSE.... Only ever invested £12k; £6 lost to CTAG delisting, which hurt but taught me a good lesson.. but through there I saw someone mentioning GGP; which is now have 470,000 shares, spread across my SIPP and ISA.
Tried some Covid pharma stocks, but getting in after the hype so the big wins are potentially gone, who knows (HEMO, NYCT, SNG) ; but GGP is about 90% of my portfolio....
Not meant as a ramp or deramp, just what i'm doing.
At 55 i can take 25% of my pension tax free; so i get the tax relief going in (maybe 45% rather than 50, but factor in Ni as salary sacrifice) and pay no tax taking it back out.
So, 27p has made me make a decision to sell some of my shares.
130,000 shares to be sold on Monday, means i can put in my pension so in 5 years i can pay off my mortgage; plus i get high rate tax relief putting it in and can tale it out tax free, esentially making my selling price 40p (27p plus 50%).
I know (hope) GGP still has a way to go, but a real profit rather than paper profit means i can tell the wife the mortgage is sorted; just no point paying it off with interest rates so low.
I thought i'd missed it at 25p, the last two days have been a hell of a ride.
1.4 average price so still got 300,000 shares to see where we end up.
The Tax relief of my employer putting wages straight into my SIPP is "guaranteed" return of 40% (Income Tax and NI together), on top of any return the SIPP generates.
I'd rather do that than get full tax deducted, then put in an ISA and be 40% behind before I even start.
Everyones circumstances are differnt I guess

I know its not the best journalistic newspaper; but its a shame they don't appear to be including our test.
Is it just the French issue?
this caught my eye as well on Twitter:
"We are Aiming for first gold sales in 2020 through processing spoil heaps"
I've diverted funds from GGP to here and EUA; might as well hope for 3 explosive shares, rather than just GGP :-)
What I dont understand is if this is such an important test (I understand the issue with differentiating flu from Covid, as an employer it will be a nightmare soon) why is it not all over the UK press?
I have 500k at an average of 1.4p Took out my original investment last week to pay for new boiler; so what remains is free profit. Not planning on selling until 25p +
Half in pension and half in Stocks ISA, so no tax liability either; woo hoo!
