We must never make the mistake of saying ''why don't CD &R buy it now because the SP is so low''. This is because if they did put a bid in at this price, the SP would would rocket more on the fact a bidding war would be imminent. More likely is a recovery above the 63p we saw earlier this year, followed by CD & R topping upto the threshold (they are not there yet).
This would put them in ''pole position'' to get the company for the right price. A takeover for this company may end up being for the same price someone would have paid when the SP collapsed just before covid. Indeed, if a bid was put in late 2019, it would have had to be +£1.50.

that simply cannot be repaired, this will head back down way below 20p. I can see this at 4p, but then again I can see it rising to 40p after that.

but will be talked about for years to come as being ''the recovery of the decade'. These could go to single figures first.

I said it will hit 80p from 50p because the uncertainty surrounding the stock has now been put to bed by successive trading updates. It has put the past behind it and needs to be rewarded for the fact it has ''moneybags'' owning the largest stake in it.

When it hits 50p, it will not be " visiting" sub 50p again. We will not see a market correction either for at least 6 months. Cannot believe how resilient the DOW Jones has become, it is heading back to 35k. There is not going to be a correction or crash until deep into 2022 when the FED stops pumping money into corporate bonds. By then expect SIG to be at least a quid.
