but common sense (to me anyway) says if a shareholder held 100 mill shares and agreed they could be lent out (under some form of contract that included notice periods)and were all sold in the market over the last 10 months (especially when that was the ingenuity disaster interview which particularly effected Softbank)
those 100 mill shares would need to be brought back if that scenario had happened
Perhaps some poster knows definitively and could clarify

The shorters would have to close to give the shares back leading to a nice lift convincing Softbank to become a LTH rather than a LTS

Hopefully we'll see a red figure along with Wickes 20% drop today along with B&Q 7% to cement the Central bank inflation policies to halt House price & durable goods inflation THEY ARE NOT BOTHERED ABOUT FMCG's
If we see red here it should ease the pressure to hike aggressively on the Federal Reserve therefore other Central Banks
