She said they are shutting down the shop after 22 years purely because of the energy costs and knows of others in the same position, however they are going back to what they did years ago at farmers markets and sell DTC via email

Now if you take that on a much larger scale, I can see clients queuing up for ingenuity and THG Beauty/MyProtein has the correct business model going forward ie none retail energy sapping shops
I know people will come back with THG will still have large energy bills but if you have one big oven doing 100's of ovens same cooking the cost savings are huge

But THG are heavily linked to the ISM services sector socialising etc and the FED don't care about this side of business it just wants to reduce demand in durable goods and housing

IMO the market will after its initial worry about this data effecting interest rate increases it should start to put extra investment into service related sectors as they are clearly in growth

And prices paid are down too great set of figures

Looks like a UK blank cheque book getting in on the act now could be competing with the US one later

To give an example KKR (who exited at IPO making £348 mill) paid £100 mill for 20% back in 2014 that roughly 40p a share THG's turnover was £300 mill and Ebitda was £25 mill

THG's figures now are roughly 7x those with huge capex and infrastructure spends

so based on above THG should be 280p

Crazy bargain hey wouldn't be surprised if KKR were the ones doing clever buying in US hours after UK media hyped dumping in the morning getting back THG shares for nearly the same as back in 2014 just my opinion

could be some leveraged trader just gone short and then its platform covered the bet in 11 seconds perhaps they think its not a good position to take up

£1.6 bill cash come in in the Last 18 months but mcap only £0.65mill now after numerous acquisitions and huge capex spending (tax deductible)
