Good to see Empire promptly proceeding with Eclipse/Gindalbie follow-up drilling campaign targeting to take account of the insights for these exploration assets that they will have gained from the recent positive diamond core and reverse circulation drilling results.

This follow-up Drilling campaign being timed in the current cooler weather season in Australia will likely promote for faster and hence more cost effective works turnaround to receive results.

Listened to the crux interview a few times as there’s lots of info to digest. Really exciting times !!

For Coringa it looks to be very positive with lots of short/medium/long term optionality coming into play for Serabi on this asset that should positively enhance the related economics.

For Matilda, to add to the previous CEO interview where the “phenomenal grades” from 2 out of 3 of the initial scout holes was being mentioned, we now have a little more meat on the bone given here in this latest interview including with it being outlined that they had been targeting the scout drilling to be shallow depth (within 200 metres) from surface to match with lower capital cost open pit mining prospect. Furthermore he states at 20 mins 19 secs “……2 of the 3 holes have returned VERY MEANINGFUL intersection lengths…..”

In summary, there are typically 3 main aspects you focus on with an exploration asset….the grade, the size and the depth. Just from these first few scouting holes at Matilda we are hearing strong positives from the CEO on all these 3 aspects.

Finding myself wishing the holiday weekend away (almost….LOL) until the market re-opens and they release those Matilda Assay results and next stage exploration plans.

@easyp………I don’t see any justification for you specifically negatively picking on Serabi, considering the whole precious metals sector (producers, developers and explorers) particularly the juniors have had depressed SP’s compared to 18 months ago for various reasons. The likes of Puregold, Hummingbird, Greatland Gold, etc have had bigger SP % drops than Serabi in that period.

Anyway since you have used the de-ramping term of “ugly duckling”…….I amusingly see that it can turn out to be quite an apt description to use for Serabi, being that with Coringa and Matilda awaiting for near term positive news then it can be foreseen for Serabi to very much be lined up to shortly turn into a beautiful swan.

Happy to have myself positioned here at the current excellent SP value in readiness for the SRB white swan future!!

The cherry could be bigger than the cake…….just topped up again (15K shares) which caused the ask price to tick up.

Worth reminding folks that on recent interview with the CEO that at backend of it he mentions envisaging a press release for further Matilda details etc by end of May…..that’s within just 6 more trading days.

The Matilda focus seems to be on copper as per the interview and the CEO mentions that Anglo American have been sniffing around…..Noteworthy that Anglo just entered a JV (with ARCM) in Zambia for copper assets at exploration phase……..I can start to see early signs of some dots being formed here that could get joined up together rather nicely in the coming months.

Would love to see Serabi pursue diversification to include for copper etc, with the green energy focus in coming decades expected to lead to rising related commodity prices. Glad to be on board here now before the herd likely picks-up on it (via the next RNS ?) and arrives shortly…..

Anyone invested in crypto mining stocks (particularly those with listings in North America) will be well aware of HCW. They have a pretty bad reputation with those shareholders for arranging placings with significant discounts + cheap warrants involved, and furthermore are rumoured to get involved in shorting games on those stocks.

Hence somewhat concerning to see this news of DDDD getting associated with HCW. Hope it’s purely investor relations related and there is not more news (transaction ?) coming here…..

CEO and CFO saw good value buying stock at 70p only 6 months ago. Now on super sale down at circa 40p after a few blips encountered along the road, which are being worked on hard to overcome asap.

Looking forward in the near term to having following likely positive SP catalysts :-

The cake - Getting confirmation that existing ops production continues improvement like April.
The icing - Continued positive news for Coringa, especially obtaining the awaited license.
The cherry - Exploration of assets give positive findings news…. e.g. Matilda assays, etc.

Oh and a rising gold price would come in handy as well….

Main person here on the buy side for the last few years has been Martin Ooi.

However his holding is now up at around 29% (following the reduction in total share count due to the completed buyback program) and so he has hardly any headroom left to buy any more stock without hitting the 30% threshold that would require him to make a takeover offer for the Company (which I doubt he is interested to do based on his online personal profile).

So without his continued buy side liquidity I don’t see where GDP gets its future positive SP momentum, unless to hope for the very long awaited rise in gold price and/or the very long awaited reinstatement of dividend payments.

Shall wait and see…..

Great news to be starting construction on schedule and their emphasis on being within budget is appreciated.

Why ? There’s plenty of stock available to buy via the ongoing insider selling that provides the liquidity, and the share buyback program has now finished.

I have this vision of Tobin sat each day at his PC logged in to his Robinhood account….buy! buy! buy! Lol ;-)
