Right royally indeed. That's finished 2,73 in auction which should probably be viewed very positively in light of the massive proposed dilution (assuming it has priced in tranche 2) That's a 9.2% premium to placing price, add in 60% dilution and we can't be far away from the Monday 'correct' price after funding confirmation. The dilution still sucks and there are flippers out there, god knows who the placing went to but despite spitting bullets this morning I might go to sleep tonight without sticking pins in my Harry doll (tbh not much space left on it)

You could argue, as did H that the placing was at market but I'd have loved to have seen the VWAP 30 days from this Monday with out the nods and winks to the spivs to dump. Certainly would have resulted in significantly less dilution. Another placement depends on whether the bond and other finance can be appropriated to plc costs but I don't know enough about the structures therein to comment.

Got bored with gold at 1300 and closed it this morning, getting close to margin calls so didn't need that one doing nowt. Shoulda flip flopped and gone short, oh well

Daisan, would have been rather a caveat heavy target but I take your point. I don't think most were expecting such heavy dilution. Fundies not really my thing but was there sufficient transparency in the anticipated costs and historic liabilities to make that shout ?
