Yeap, It's one share I take a punt on. It's not based on the Fundamentals it's based on general sentiment. it's been my best forming share for 2 years out of 5. Purely traded except for one time when I started believing the narrative and got burnt. I've been lucky for sure as one spike up was on finance and another came out of the blue with diamond news. I am in no doubt I could the lot and I only bet money I can afford to lose. Currently risk reward is not as good as it was a few weeks ago so won't be adding any more here but happy to let this ride to see how it plays out. May sell at some stage if I lose interest but it's a great share to follow to see the RNSs against actual results. What to look out for in poorly run companies and it's saved me lots of money at other companies.

For your information the shares had to be issued at a premium as that's the nominal value of each individual share when issued. Unfortunately the market currently values the company below this minimum amount due to its failure to deliver any value to shareholders to date. There's a lesson in there somewhere but let's not look too closely as we all know the answer. It's not as though it's the firsts second or third time it's been here....

We all hope there is positive news going forward but doesn't take away from the company's ability to pay a small fee. Shareholders have once again been diluted impacting on potential returns.

There's been some positives but over past 7 years there's been a lot more negatives and hence my view on BoD. Even now they continue to surprise me on how they get things so wrong like having to pay their broker with shares.

Lol, I've been trading this share for years and unfortunately I do have a position here. Blatant ramps I have an issue with as there are plenty of gullible green investors who get taken for a ride.

Repeating same old stuff and it's not even been a day! Oilisgold will get out of this share at the first opportunity...

Problem is lot of reorganisation happens in the Ministry of Mines in ZIM. New faces appear that also need to feed their familes. Why would you sign a document when you know you can milk the cow for another 10 years'

Ifiknewidberich9, there's always the outlandish posts done on little research and others who are just trying to ramp up the share to pull in gullible to make 5%. Not that it works as an any serious investor is going to do their research but will get inexperienced investors to lose their money as they over commit.

Hopefully diamonds handed over with very little restrictions on use of funds so can pay back debt. If they can start generating free cash flow from Romania then we could have a serious company going forward.

Company needs to show it can increase its gold production. Only 7 weeks to go to January and hopefully confirmation of increase. Very few PIs invested so small number of trades. Think three of the four sell trades this morning were buys as the smaller one was mine.

Hope it's not sitting in the same pile of paper work,

Vast Resources plc, the AIM-listed mining company, is pleased to update the market on progress of the Chiadzwa Community Diamond Project.

The Company notes the recent comments in a number of online news sites as a result of the press conference held by the Hon. Minister W Chitando at the Zimbabwe Ministry of Mines and Mining Development relating to the current status of the signing of the Agreements between its Zimbabwean subsidiary company Katanga Mining (Pvt) Ltd – (which is jointly owned with Chiadzwa Mineral Resources (Pvt) Ltd) – and Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (Pvt) Ltd (‘ZCDC’).

The Company continues to work closely with the

Zimbabwean Ministry of Mines and Mining Development, ZCDC and the Chiadzwa Community and wishes to confirm that it has received confirmation of the signing during the course of next week.'

I believe AP is still trying to find some ink for the pen.

AP unfortunately says lots of things such as free cash flow in 2021, breakeven in 2022, 2023 and now 2024, no more need for placements on numerous times and yet a couple of weeks later or a month issues a placement. Talks about net asset value in hundreds of millions yet cannot get the copper out of the ground profitability so means absolutely nothing. Especially when turnover in the past year was only £2m!

Just pointing out inconsistency in AP remarks over past 5 years. I think in one of his recent presentations also said he had invested £5m in his own money. Well i've not found those investments but have found £2m given to him for his share of BP which he owned. Just think what he would have paid to ongoing costs if thus wasn't bought out! All smoke and mirrors here.

Even so if finance is sorted there is plenty of potential but finance is the key to making this mining projects work

Can't believe AP still has a job here. Even if the share price increases 100,000% it would still only be 25% of equivalent SP when he took over as CEO.

This should company should have entered administration years ago. Saying that there are glimmers of hope out there but has AP learnt enough in last few years to make it happen. Even if he does pull it off it will only help those who have invested in the last month or so considering SP fall.

ASI today's RNS suggests the same but original RNS stated, 'The Company in addition will be entitled to make a charge for processing material at Baita Plai in accordance with industry norms.' Kind of makes a mockery of APs remark about RNS and NOMAD if this is not the case. AP finds it hard to be being clear and transparent.

ASI thanks for clarifying. Was this just an insurance policy for the court case or was a policy actually taken out for storage of the diamonds at the RBZ?

Hi Pecten I was unaware of any insurance policies put in place for the diamonds. Would love to hear where you heard,/saw this as my understanding was anything stored in boxes at Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe were not insured.

On respect to quality of diamonds its generally understood the field was generally industrial diamonds but it's possible there could be some gem quality stones within the parcel. The independent assessment of the diamonds on 2010 at the time seems to back up this prognosis, 'The stones are roughly valued at about $18 million, according to diamond buyers in London.'

Is this the same CEO who took over in December 2017 when SP equivalent was £3.50 and said, 'The company's stable, we're growing, we're looking at new opportunities, we're focused on our core business and we'll look at capitalising on that - and most importantly using our intellectual property we've gained over the years both in Zimbabwe and Romania to grow the business further'

Apart from an increase on the day of RNS stating BP resource increase there is hardly going to be a sustained increase in SP unless the company can show it can commercially mine the ore for a profit. For the past 4 years it's depleted it's resources without any return. It's been a haemorrhage to company finances. Better to put it on care and maintenance until copper price increases to where it can make a profit. Look at other mining agreements it has in place which could provide a return to shareholders. At present BP looks like an AP dream project which he had to keep throwing money at until it provides a return no matter what the cost to shareholders.

I know people don't like to delve to far back like past the last RNS so just a reminder of share price on 5th October 2023 prior to placement, 1.55p equivalent. Where are we now! Vast BoD failed to deliver for shareholders to date. Hoping at long last they take note and start delivering or AP should actually look to resign so they can install a competent CEO. It's not as though as anyone going to fire him.

Just to show how Vast delivers. Last October following a placement raising, £1,819,350, the Company stated, 'Funding Based on current strategy and updated expectations the Company does not believe it will need to raise further equity funding for the foreseeable future.'

Well since then placements as follows:

23/01/24 £1,255,625

15/05/24 £616,000

15/07/24 £600,000

14/10/24 £750,000

No different to previous years or prior statements on not needing any further funding. Until finance confirmed and received expect this to continue. So many RNSs proven to be false yet PIs still get taken for ride whilst they fail to undertake basic research and get carried along with the hype.

There's potential here but would pay anything more than nominal in fear of further placements.

It's been the same way after every placement. Just pick any year for the last few years and check where the SP is now. Tells you all you need to know. Until we get an RNS confirming hand over of diamonds or alternative finance this share is going nowhere.
