Price action on oil companies in FTSE is laughable.

Many shorting oil companies in expectation of a big drop in oil prices.

With Tullow, the price has been higher while oil prices were in the $60s!

I guess Lyndon will be blaming me for the fall…

Not to mention the strengthening $ which also helps UK based companies.

All oil companies must be printing money right now despite hedges. But the sp of most oil companies has been curiously restrained. Even if price falls to $75, they will have made tonnes to return to shareholders.

I just saw another of your posts Adieuk32 re: hedged oil. Is all of Tullow's current production hedged at last year's prices?

How long can Europe survive before Euro collapses, and ee see massive inflation of everything? Especially as Energy = Economy.

This week, Friday is key options expiry date? I think price should start motoring after Friday.

Thanks Adieuk32. So at present Tullow is getting revenues of around $60m per day. The longer prices remain above $100 pbod, Tullow will be doing ok, even without Kenya? Any idea what its AISC is pbod at current production levels?

Oil goes up 100%; Tullow goes up 20%.

Oil falls 1%; Tullow falls 5%.

Actual question was how many barrels a day (approx) is Tullow selling at present?

Does anyone know how many barrels a day Tullow is producing and selling into the market at present? I am just wondering how big a dent into its debt levels it would be making each day the oil price remains above $100.

China and India are now the biggest consumers of energy; and Russia the biggest producer of energy. Gravity seems to be pulling towards the east. What Saudis do, may well tip the balance firmly toward the east. I think mainstream media have yet to tell the masses the implications of linking the Rb to gold, and demanding payment for Russian assets in Rb or gold. Fx markets seem to have picked up on the enormity already by getting Rb to just about where it was before invasion began.
