The Sprott report is amazingly prophetic! At Au grade 5g/t they estimated 10 Moz Eq Au for an 80m radius by 1000m depth. How much wider than 80m radius could this go?

Also they show geology characteristics mirroring Telfer in all but one aspect : magnetic and gravity anomaly is present at Hav but not at Telfer. Any significance in that difference?

From re-listening to the interview, I actually am very encouraged by a number of things.

- NCM is focussing on large scale mines
- high grade gold
- long mine life
- with low potential AISC. I was amazed that their AISC at Cadia is a mere $132 / oz!
- high free cash flow.

These guys know when there’s something big out there. Plus they have the capabilities to make the most of such mines to return maximum cash to shareholders.

Guys, I am chuffed that such a company is interested in a minnow like us!!

In fact, I am also considering investing in NCM...

Someone made an interesting comment that NCM will only get first refusal once farm in conditions have been fulfilled. Does that leave door open to the possibility of hostile bidding prior to that?

Looks like NCM underestimated the depth of the Permian cover, abandoned their drill campaign there prematurely, and surrendered their tenement. The rest, as they say, is history!

Many thanks hydrogen. So with rocks dipping east toward Havieron, does that make it more likely (without considering intrusion breccias) that Hav would be expected to have more deposits than say Telfer? And could faultline make likelihood of magma intrusions more likely?

I was having a look at the aeromagnetics of Patterson (follow link below). Not being a geologist, I was wondering if there is any significance in the 4 “depth to basin countours” converging around Havieron. And also anyone know what the broken black line with black triangles running through Scallywag and Havieron represents?
