Please excuse my ignorance but I'm just trying to get my head a little bit more around the Fodere involvement and process carried out on the Pitombeiras sample mentioned in the last RNS.
Although it was very welcome news it wasn't that clear on the Fodere business link side. I wonder if anyone could shed a bit more light or had views?...
I'm guessing the test sample sent to Zambia and the subsequent 25T bulk sample were/are being processed Fodere's 7T pilot plant they started building last year. I further understand that Fodere also started a JV in North America with Titanium North America last year and are at early construction phase on a pkant in South Africa. Therefore at the moment there appears to be no large bulk processor up and running.
However, the last RNS mentions that we hold the IP rights for the the Fodere process in South America.
So, if the 25T sample does come up glittering, who would be financing and running the 'Fodere' processing plant in South America and do we think there are any firm plans to actually build a plant yet regardless?
If one were to be built, do you think it would it be open to other miners/waste material producers too and, if we hold the IP, would we directly financially benefit? (After all, the processing plant has the potential to outlive the mine life). How large (or how many) and where could the plant be located and when?
I'm just trying to further understand the potential overall value here (incl. BRES & Fodere aspects) and also some of the potential future expenses.
Although stable, at the moment the current SP seems to me to be wholly dependent and centred on the long awaited Pitombeiras final PEA report rather than anything else.
