The Fundamentals will drive the SP. Lam now has a lower order book and higher fixed costs. It needs big new orders soon at decent margins or it has to cut back , which will reduce the sp.

.Its all explained below.They havent booked any big orders for ages so they are running through producing an old/er order book that was taken on at lower margins sooner than producing recent orders at better margins.

Looks like an early leak on results. Knowing Lamprell Mangments integrity [ lack] its probably overstated and they will underwhelm once actual results are out. I cant see a massive profit with no big new order pipeline announced. They must still be producing against the lower margin contracts from when they were busy fools a year or so ago. GLA

Massive over reaction bt MMs to a modest fall in profits. I see this back to 320 by early next week.

I guess if you up the margin to operate at profit you generate less sales. The big investment is going into American shale gas not expensive drill rigs. Should generate decent sales from the captive local market to Employ all those Arab Engineers and technicians and with luck will make a modest profit but as youy say its going sideways and gone are the days when I saw it returning to £4 +

Now thats settled can we expect a bid for CWC within days. The Dollar is strong at the momnent but sterling is likely to get stronger quicker which could force out the USA bidder

Businessmen versus Politicians. They should run rings round them. I would want a healthy premium and a managment contract in return for controling interest or force them to but the lot back at the standard average 40% premium

Its Encouraging but doesnt look like they have changed. 14 November they were on track as per the interim statement yet two months later [ Excellent news] they are ahead of expectations. Thats a sign of poor internal information systems and Senior Managment unable to read a market or make accurate forecasts

Good Results should see it again climb above £4. Question is once it breaks through can it stay there. It fell back signifiucantly last time it broke £4
