Really ........well the London Savoy can't fill rooms, and special deals are on offer.

Perhaps it's something to do with Tax-Free shopping being abolished or is it the thought of getting mugged walking in what used to be a relatively safe city.

Earlier on Monday, Aviva said it bought AIG Life from Corebridge Financial, a subsidiary of American International Group Inc, for GBP460 million. Aviva said AIG Life UK provides a full suite of individual and group protection products, with 1.3 million individual protection customers and 1.4 million group protection members.

Thanks eviking.... my account on this occasion is set for cash dividend.

Sunak Tories and Macron have a done deal.....the British public are being played.

Watch this space in the next Election.

A Tory win & the deal will go through 10% more EU fishing fleet, 20pc + slowly slowly. The UK fishing industry will be thrown under the bus (or should I say, even more dire than today) many "leave voters" will gladly sacrifice British waters and the British fishing industry, if it greatly reduces illegal migrants from landing on the beaches.

A Labour win & the deal will go through and the "remain voters" won't be bothered because it ticks EU boxes.

Both parties are a shocking disgrace and neither party is fit for purpose to take this country forward.

The BOD is more than aware of shareholder's exposure to windfall taxes.

The CEO has nada/zero empathy for Lloyds shareholders..... break this group up and deliver cash back to shareholders.

Charlie Nunn/BOD is rubbing shoulders with this Government or the next Government, not to mention world establishment rewards.

Wilko's problems started many years ago.......the business was top heavy with Head office staff.

Tony Wilkenson's daughter Lisa ran it into the ground with a delusional vision for Wilko (destination retailer)

GFK data is/was reasonably accurate... B&M Stores, Home Bargains, and other discount retailers took market share.

There are many smart retailers in the UK who continue to attract footfall.....Wiko wasn't one of them!
