China versus USA..... trade wars (tariffs). Surplus versus Deficit.

Trump's art of the deal versus China's art of the deal.

One in four containers in the world is earmarked for Walmart, followed by Amazon, Target, and Dollar Discount Retailers.......a lot of the SKU's (stock count units) is manufactured in Asia.

Trump does not hold all the cards......a calculated container disruption from China would put USA RETAIL into a tail spin, higher inflationary prices......FED rate cuts on hold for longer.

Another dire day.........like yourself, I've been reducing my pf over the past three months.

Very light with PSN, TW shares are free from past profits.

I sold 75% of VTY @585p (loss -130p), bitter pill.

All out with other HBs for now........... Markets believe 3 rate cuts this year.

My core pf for passive income is looking good...AV, PHNX, LGEN.

Added LGEN trading shares early hrs.....lol dropped.

Good post & agree House builders are unloved at this moment.

TW in 2024 was my largest holding and luckily I exited @160p average with 75% (60p per share profit after divs)

I guess my remaining holding is FREE....however I swapped most PSN for TW many months ago purely for the div.

Still holding a very small pf in PSN ....I was hoping to see the return of "Help to Buy"

I still think it will happen because to really stimulate the economy. The BBC article basically has all hope on a house building boom for tiny UK growth.
