Hooe tour well diamondlover? With other life commitments (work and personal life) iv no longer got the time to post on here unfortunately. However I do try to read posts whenever I can. Usually end up binge reading the weeks posts on a sunday night if I havent managed to log in that week. Iv got to the point where watching daily sp fluctuations wasnt of much benefit as a long term holder so to save some grey hairs along with reasons above I decided would spend more time with family. Having said that I have posted every couple of months over the past few years. Lets see what turns out to be of this BE spin off rumour... Hopefully thats all it is.
Guys we are on the cusp of company making news and there will likely be many heads popping in the door and from whats been posted today many will just walk out. Not having a go at anyone but can we please keep it related to the great company that is bmn.
Eskom news hopefully will be dropping next week and this bb needs to revert back to the friendly place it usually is. Yes its been frustrating as hell for some of us who have seen the games go on from some regular trolls for too long and the sp languish to a level it should not be at but we need to hold onto keeping this place as welcoming as possible. Thats my rant over! Hope everyone is well. Interesting (and hopefully very rewarding) few weeks ahead of id say.
ZQ33 use of he link i posted earlier and take a screenshot of it (and save it). That clearly says its the average and is from HMRC themselves. Only difference is if you buy and sell within 30 days which then i believe is the first in first out scenario. But i dnt trade so not sure about that.
Interesting Faramog as iv sold other investments before and used the average of the purchases as advised by the link here: https://www.gov.uk/tax-sell-shares/same-company
Id say it shows someone is working on a newsletter and fat fingers got the best of them. What worries me most is if BE is indeed spun off. Its our crown jewels of the future and as Fortune has said himself many times it will carry a much higher valuation than the mining side ever will... Hope its some jibberish from VSA and from the way the few mins I listened to went id say it likely is! Not posted for a whilst to save some grey hairs as been letting my solid investments be for now.
Still holding here butt only pop in now and thrn as this is clearly a long term hold so to save the grey hairs Iv decided to let all my long term holds just be for the now.
Re Bennett yhat is indeed richarr bennett of CNEL as im aware he was associated with MTI and j2 global previously. Would be interested to see if he has been given marching orders from CNEL since they delisted from AIM.
We all know when cofeecups shows up its time to buy more.. his so called concerned postings for quite some time give the game away. CoffeeC on a serious note what is it that makes you post negatives... Are you still holding? Likely not..
Merry xmas folks.
Nice end to the year but this shouldnt still be at these levels (pre covid) just before some company making news will be released. Its akin to an oiler about to drill for oil and the chance of success being as high as it gets and the SP for me hasnt factored this in yet for BMN (obviously its not oil but a large contract for VFRBs with Eskom but the point is there).
With increased levels of production ww dont need the previous highs of vanadium to get back to the same profit levels and as the years go by this will only vet better. Thank god the orange oomoa loompa across the pond is on his way out. The world needs to unite in tackling climate change before it is too late. What a company to be in here (",).
Heres to a prosperous (in health and wealth 2021).
Best wishes to you all.
Hope everyone is doing well. Iv looked through recent posts and cant seem to see where/how those who want to get to 5% are added together... Id like to add my 225k shares as some questions need to be asked of the BOD.
So just out of curiosity i used lse trades tab here to see what the 1.2 million transaction had noted next to it and it come up with 2 interesteing terms.
1.Non Protected Portfolio
2. single protected transaction
Now using stockopaedia the definitions for these are:
Non Protected Portfolio - A non-protected portfolio transaction or a fully disclosed portfolio transaction. Normally a transaction of a number of stocks dealt with by one market maker at an agreed discount to the market price.
Single PT- If reporting a single protected transaction. A protected transaction occurs when a large order is going through the market. The buyer (or seller) may wish to keep the order anonymous from the rest of the market as the size of the order could greatly alter the price of the stock. With a protected transaction the dealer will put the trade through in small quantities rather than knock the whole order out in one hit. The entire transaction is reported once the deal is completed. The LSE is notified at the start and at the end of the transaction, however, the market as a whole isn't told until the end, thus the order is protected.
Is this the end of the seller we have had now?-anyone guess! Clearly the seller has went and negotiated direct with a MM (dont have level 2 to see what MM this could be) and agreed a price below market rate. Seems someone is a distressed seller here. They can hide for now but wont be long before we find out who. Iv not did this before with any of the other trades as all have been 250-500k max if i recall correctly. This 1.2million stands out and as is a protected transaction. Now the question is.... Is this the seller who has depressed our sp or someone else selling? Hopefully its the first and that means we are ready to get back to where we should be- multiples of this sp!
Purchased another £9.1k today (83570 to add that to the £24k. Iv accrued over last few days.
All others reported as buys but todays shows as a sell. Read into it what u may but still annoys me how something so simple cant be reported correctly.
Hope all LTHs are well. The next 50p+ days hopefully not too far away. Once whoever is selling is out the way this will rocket up. I dont think this is just transfer of stock as the sells wouldnt have been broken up into smaller chunks as we see here. The question remains if it isnt GS who on earth is it and why at such a low sp.
So over 9 times oversubscribed!
Good sign for things to come.
Although if itt was soo oversubscribed i wonder why the offer price was at the lower end....
Been reading about this quietly in background. Only holding 220k shares but a great result. Im in process of transferring my cnel shares to AJ bell from I web (part of halifax).
Im sure iv read people say the oversubscription was 2.5 times the availability on HK offering but just come across this:
The Directors announce that the Hong Kong Offer Shares initially offered under the Hong
Kong Public Offering have been significantly over-subscribed. At the close of the application
lists at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, 7 July 2020, a total of 6,816 valid applications have been
received pursuant to the Hong Kong Public Offering on WHITE and YELLOW Application
Forms and by giving electronic application instructions to HKSCC via CCASS and to the
White Form eIPO Service Provider through the White Form eIPO service, for a total of
77,968,000 Hong Kong Offer Shares, representing approximately 9.44 times of the 8,260,000
Hong Kong Offer Shares initially available for subscription under the Hong Kong Public
Offering
Under the summary document found here:

WELL DONE TO ALL HOLDERS.
For those that did sell out and looking for another share have a look at BMN.. please do your own research.. iv got most my eggs in that basket but im confident will come good over next year if COVID doesnt wreck the world economy any further.
Pdub you my friend have been a true gentleman i er the years. I'm so sorry to hear of your sad news. My thoughts are with you and your family. If not already carried out I would recommend you ask to be discussed on a multidisciplinary clinic (if you havent been already) occasionally we doctors do get things wrong (were only human) so having others also look at the results/investigations especially when a matter of life is invaluable... Iv seen this with my own eyes unfortunately that some doctors think they are always right and wont need to discuss as a team... Having said that though any diagnosis of terminal cancer should be discussed on a multidisciplinary clinic. Even if it is simply to discuss how to increase your quality of life for the foreseeable future and to obtain a second opinion. My thoughts are with you and your family. Say strong my friend. Life is full of surprises.. some pleasant some not so pleasant. Best wishes to yourself and family.
Iv maxed out my FCA covered holdings with other stock brokers so for me was safer to look for another stockbroker and whats better than a free service. Iv yet to have any issues (im sure there will be some!) but iv only used it for the first time today although iv had the account for 2 weeks.
