UK regulator fines Deutsche Bank's London branch for breaching Russia sanctions

LONDON, May ​19 (Reuters) - ⁠Britain's ​sanctions enforcement regulator has ​fined ‌Deutsche Bank's ⁠London branch for ⁠breaches relating ​to the government's Russia ​sanctions regime, ‌the watchdog said on ​Tuesday.

The 165,000-pound fine($221,083.50) ‌was for making funds available ‌to a designated person without ​a licence, the government's ‌Office of Financial Sanctions ⁠Implementation ⁠said. ($1 = 0.7463 ‌pounds) (Reporting by ​Sarah Young; ​writing ‌by Muvija M; editing by William James)
