LONDON (Alliance News) - TyraTech Inc Tuesday said its Vamousse head lice products are now listed by AmerisourceBergen, the second biggest distributor of pharmaceutical products in the US, paving the way for distribution to the large network of independent pharmacies in the country.
The deal follows recently-announced listings for Vamousse with McKesson and Cardinal Health, the number one and number three distributors of pharmaceutical products in the US, respectively.
The company said the three listings are the first step in accessing the roughly 20,000 independent pharmacies in the US. The three distributors had combined estimated sales of more than USD350 billion in 2014, and have specific programs designed to reach independent pharmacies and chains of local and regional pharmacies, TyraTech said.
The latest US deal comes after TyraTech said last week that it had won deals to sell its Vamousse head lice treatment and protection products in Lloyds Pharmacies in the UK and the treatment product with the Day Lewis Pharmacy chain in the UK.
TyraTech shares were untraded in London Tuesday morning. The stock last traded at 5.54 pence.
