Tuesday preview: Carpetright, Informa, Go-Ahead

KBC Peel Hunt notes that Carpetright has been benefiting from the demise of fellow carpet retailer Allied Carpets and thinks it is in a strong position to 'deliver record UK sales this year.' The company's interim results should offer some clues as to whether this will be achieved.Citigroup is not expecting any surprises from Informa, in line with an update earlier this month when the publishing group said trading was in line with expectations.The broker notes that the Lloyd's List publisher has only 3% exposure to advertising, which has served it well in the downturn.The rail and bus operator Go-Ahead also updates. The focus will be on is core operations as the company earlier this month announced that it has exchanged contracts to sell its airport ground handling and cargo operations to focus on its rail and bus activities.Numis is expecting lender International Personal Finance (IPF) to report good growth in its trading update.
