Wed, 30th Jan 2019 15:11

(Sharecast News) - Specialist services and engineering company TP Group announced an order worth £0.8m on Wednesday, to supply carbon dioxide removal equipment for fitment to a new-build submarine by an overseas shipbuilder. The AIM-traded firm said it was the third order in a multi-unit export programme. It said the orders were the result of its continued development of "compact, quiet and lightweight" equipment that met the requirements of the sector. The equipment would be built at TP Group's engineering facility in Portsmouth, and was expected to be delivered in 2019."This order is a recognition of the close working relationships that our technology and engineering team has established with several global prime contractors," said TP Group chief executive officer Phil Cartmell."We strive to be a trusted partner that can supply safe, reliable and technically advanced equipment to a global audience, and through orders like this we can continue to build our position in overseas markets."
